Carb dun use much electric unlike Fi,current load for carb is way lesser than Fi.I suspect ex owner put Fi coil and rec.Fi coil and carb rec dun mixed,high chance of blow out.If FI coil and Fi rec on carb also no good coz where the excess current will go?...no choice go to rectifier lor,that y u got early rec retirement....but i tink if u use carb coil and fi reg,shudnt be any issue....most important is the coil...and also rectifier la.

That what i suspect of my current coil as the new coil model number diff fr current coil...

Well change everything liao

Coil (carb model) & Rectificer (carb Model)

Change the fan switch & front wheel bearing.... Faintz....lol

My charging system all brand new liao...lol

Today bought a vtec2 brace... Totally cant fit into 01 BB..... Bro care to share the pics of ur forkbrace....or do i need to remove that black thing protecting my fork oil seal

Yup u gt 2 remove the black plastic fork protector...

not reari remove but rather to push up the protector slightly...

hence u nid the following tools

 

1. hammer or mallet

2. piece of long wood (if no choice, use a long minus screw driver but careful nt 2 add wounds to yr protector...)

3. allen key to attach & tighten the brace....

guys how do u determind if your FI is wiring wet or rly got problem..

 

is it when u put side stand, start bike then the FI goes "blink blink pause blink blink pause.."

 

or,

 

blinkblinkblink all the way as you ride?

Got new lobang for frame plugs selling about $30.. will update you guys later... but material is made of rubber...

 

so now got 2 choice..

 

made of derlin --> $60

made of rubber --> about $30

 

care to discuss the pros and cons.. ?

Well, now awaiting the product to arrive...

hopefully when i back on thurs the product reach my home...lol

 

think it self locking material should be rubber...lol

well let not speculate & wait for the product to arrive...

 

ways to secure the plug....

silicion or glue for a sure but easy to remove fit...lol

Hi Cpt.ZR, i dunno how to explain.. but apparently, this is my third time that my FI light has disappeared completely.. its like a disease, sometimes it comes back.. and then it cured by himself, and im enjoying it when its gone.. but all of a sudden, it will come back again and I hate that.. arrgghh1!!!!

I suspect the wet wiring may be cause by dielectric grease used on connectors,where the heat will start to melt away the grease thus causing the connectors to be wet.Mostly found at the engine bay.

My orgasm starts at 299km/h.....
