hmm today i encounter a strange indicator from the fuel gauge, i was already running on reserve, then after traveling a short distant abt 1-2 KM, the fuel gauge was flashing (the flashing is not the orange low fuel indicator light, its the whole gauge flashing between full tank and empty tank without the orange indicator light).

anyone encounter this before?

I think it's indicating that the reserve is gonna use up soon, I've encountered before. :btw: past wk's FC was 323.5km before reserve. :cheeky:

I don't blame people who doesn't show courtesy, they just didn't get taught on how to do so.

All our scooters are less than 4 yrs old leh. Very hard for us to tell if it's normal.

I think can try compare with the first batch of X9. They tend to make some noise too.

But I think you should really get it inspected by the proper mechanics. For your own safety.

Here's an update of the GTS200.

Honeymoon's over.

Ride up 130+ km up north.

Cruising is comfy at 110km at around 8k rpm. Throttle is just a little from full.

When overtaking at full throttle there are some vibrations, like pushing it a little too hard.

Ride comfort, position is better than the X9. I like the high feet rest.

The seat material is "stickier" than the X9. So hard to slide around to change position. Good and bad. I'd prefer a less stickier one.

The rear box flexes at the connection plate. Need to stuff in some rubber here and there to prevent this. Sometimes creaking and noisy.

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the 'scooter scene' and recently got my first scooter/bike, a joyride 200 (second hand :-P). Loving and enjoying it.

Being a newbie in the scene, I was wondering if there are any accessories for joyride 200 and if so, where can I get them? I've seen a white colour joyride with a front panel totally different from mine and has a metal plate on the foot rest.

Also, just encounter my first problem with the scooter too! Well, it is a second hand bike afterall.... :-P The speedometer and the odometer doesn't seem to be working. The fuel, temperature gauge seems to be working fine. Can anyone provide me with some information as to where the problem lies?

Your information is much appreicated!!

Cheers,

Ah Liang

Welcome to the family Ah Liang.

I'm riding the Joyride EFI. I suppose the Joyride you saw is also the EFI. EFI comes with the metal plates.

When you talk abt accessories, what sort of accessories are you referring to?

Usually when I encounter problems, I'll seek help from Kenny & team.

Hope you enjoy your ride like I do. Lots of storage space too if you have a box behind.

3mths since I got my GTS200. I rode it to Malacca, Kota Tingi, Desaru, Rompin, Kulai... etc. The bike can make long distance trips provided u are able to control your speed at 110km/h which will be the best touring speed for this bike. Well, this is what I experience with. I post some pics for you guys who are planning for trips but is still doubting whether you should do it or not.

This are some pics I took when I had a solo ride to Kota Tingi and Desaru with my GF on 3rd day of CNY.

Well guys, enjoy GTS. I just love the head lights and the mirrors. Esp at night in Malaysia smaller roads....lol. I will be willing to lead u guys for such a trip on any weekends. It took me 8hrs to complete the whole journey from SG>Kota Tingi>Desaru>JB makan>SG. And I spend less than RM100 including petrol, food, drinks, swim, entry fees, ciggs.

Wait till I achieve my objective.... I will be back with a more powerful engine and a more sexy bike......
