I just got the Fighter 150 for barely 2 weeks, as I was away for a week, I couldn't start the engine, no head lights, no horns...the battery must be flat! I don't want to make any comments yet on this bike as I rode it for only 3 days.

Try to kick start it if possible. If not try to get someone to jump start it for you using his/ her bike/ car. Then quickly go down to your mototiam and tell them you can't start it in the morning (dun tell them you haven't start it for 1 week!), they will most probably change a new batt for you.

 

BTW, dun tell anyone I taught you that...

ok one lah. i rode at 80km/h at 7000rpm for the first 500km run in. plus i throttle happy the bike at all traffic lights.

 

after 500km, change EO liao, tried 90 - 100km/h at 8000rpm.

 

bike now 1 yr old at 20,000km

just go to any bike shop and ask... best is to find those specialise in scooter coz they will be more familiar on how the wiring goes...

ok thanks pal, had it change 2 michelin liao, not much 2 choose from actually as they dun import stock 1 also. only michelin got d pattern tat i 1, d rest r sport design n sub stantard type. Happy riding every1.

hi every1, any1 using polini or malossi clutch variator n rollers? will like 2 kn which is better in term of price n reliability. Thanks.

using polini. configured for high end. acceleration is much sluggish then stock. but instead of 7000rpm at 80km/h. now is 6000rpm at 80km/h. smoother ride. at the price of $580. polini speed control, clutch bell and rollers.

gts key can be purchase from rowell road...can't remember the name but is next door to FJT who sell bikes parts.

if you want one with magnetic lock function, quote the number tag on your master key.

Hi All,

 

To share some experiance on this Bike. I personally have use GTS 200 from Singapore travel straight to Penang. 10hours alone 1 way including 5 rest at petrol station & makan place. Have done the complete trip 3 times.

 

Long distant traveling speed is 80~110km/hr 7000~8000rpm.

 

Problems I encounter on north/south high-way after 27000km within 12 months. Puncture 4 times, Tire rupture 1 time, 1 broken nut at rear, change front wheel bearings. All these are reaction from bad road condition & heat.

 

All & all, its a good bike. I am keeping it.
