Minimum bid for new number is $1000, alternative is to buy an old bike for as cheap as possible and transfer the plate to the new bike, transfer fee I think is $100

It depends on how long the number cycles. I believe the number "4" would take a while bcoz of some supersticious thingy(or culture etc). The other way bside then bidding number or transfer of plate number, u can try askin any bike shops what the latest digit for FZ. Juz be patience, as the bike wont go away any time soon...

So if i'm 24 with more than 2yrs of driving exp. How much could it be?

Anyone have information about the FC of the GTS?

Where can I find more detail about this GTS?

As u're under 26yrs, the bike would cost u at least $8k. I bought mine for $8.1k.

as for FC, mr chua_chee_keong has my qoute. But thats the 1st full tank with v power. At least i want to take an average of 3 full tanks b4 i could say how far my gts can go per litre fuel.

I've hit 320+km n now in reserved.

So bro, sorry for this stoopid question. SO the running in for the GTS will be 1000km? AT 90km/hr? :giddy:

Running in depends on the bike. By book, i tink it stated 1000km... 60km/hr.

As for me, the bike is so comfortable, 60km/hr will make me feel sooo sleepy.

THe most i go is 90. But i keep "playing" with my throttle as it's not good for the pistons if u maintain the same speed......

After a few hundreds km of riding, u'll feel ur bike response will be smoother, then gradually increase ur speed......maybe 100 or 110.

btw, RIDE AT UR OWN RISK. I WONT TAKE RESPONSIBLE IF ANY MISHAP HAPPEN TO U OR UR BIKE,OR MAYBE UR LICENSE.

And finally, i would recommend to all new bikes, after u reach the 300km mark, please change ur 4T. Its a good practice. Juz ur 4T is gd enuff. N remember, upon reaching 1000km mark, use ur free servicing coupon... juz a reminder.......

Sorry to hear tt bro...

what u could do is to report the matter to the nearest NPC, suggest them to do a regular patrol around ur area..........

Or u might invest in a car cover.....tt might be quite a hastle to put on, but will certainly eliminate bird droppings off ur car........ unless u park in MSCP.

Well a poor victim of pathetic youths... I dunno the 369 gangs still exist.. Haha... Hope it isn't too bad.. If the scratch isn't deep enough, maybe you can use a good car-wax. My mom scrapped the family car with an SBS Superbus before & half the door was in purple, white & red but luckily it wasn't so bad so we just tried some car-polish & managed to clear it off. By the way, u should hear the noise my Dad made.. Cheers

Cos it's very new in the market all over the world. Furthermore, other places seems to be getting the 250cc ones.

OLD NO GO, NEW NO COME.

These scoots r not made to RunVeryFast..........

But if u really wanna know, the meter ends at 160km........ n most scoots of thz model(x9 etc), safest at most 130-140km/hr. Due to the size n not as slimlined compared to Gilera runner........i doubt gts can beat krr at top speed...... maybe picking up at trafffics.......

Ya, and they name it as voyager 250

too bad the agent here in sg is still sceptical bout importing 250s here. Maybe if there's gd response of gts....especially after branding of SYM, they Might bring in gts 250........aka voyager 250 in europe........

LiTtlE dEvIlS ,

I checked with my fren who is werking at SYM service centre, i tink were u the one who called bout the side mirror??

According to him, they do have part for joyrides, but u got to buy the whole set, as wat u mentioned, it's quite costly. They are looking into the matter, n breaking up the parts n do a part list and the pricing. Maybe in the near future....

As wat shark mentioned, u can go down to Weda enterprise. THey do hav almost all of the STOCK PARTS ONLY for joyrides n other SYM bike except for gts, as the bike is still new.

Going there, from serangoon rd towards bendemeer, enter rowell rd as wat shark mentioned.

Thks for the input.. i will try go down tis weekend.. hopefully can find something or else had to change the whole thing liao...hehee

yup yup... even if the meter is with the max of 160km/h i dun think can reach the max de lah unless you go and make some changes to the gear ratio or the cam lah. well scooter are actually known for their confort mah as long can hit 100 in sgp road it is gd enough but if got touring it will be better if can hit till 120km/h lor.

yup heard alot of ppl talking about this GTS because of the haya head light appearence and also the LED tail light. than somemore it is EFI. but even if i want to change bike also cannot because my financial status dun allow me ....

no active trips since 2006

Hi everyone,

I went to have a look at the Sym GTS 200 as I was interested to upgrade my joyride 200 to a 200cc machine. I was informed by the salesman that it is a 200cc machine and was quite impressed by the looks of the bike.

However when I looked at the specs page of the manual, it state that the GTS200 is only 171.5cc and comes with 8.5l fuel tank. This is exactly the same as the Joyride.

Would any owner of a new GTS care to comment? Thanks

Bro, How about the spare parts for GTS, like where to get and availability??

Or the spare can only get from the distributor itself?? :giddy:

Hope the price is better than some scoot on the road.

With every good wishes
