Hi All,

I just passed my 8.01 and going for TP on 15th June. I want to buy used bike temprarily because my actual plan is to ride 2A/2 category bikes. I was browsing the internet and found some bikes like yamaha tw 200 & daelim 125/150. But i am not sure about their petrol consumption and engine quality.

Need suggestions of you guys.

Thanks,

Hi Bro, wish you all the best for your TP..

TA150 or TA200 is most economical and just nice before you get your 2A bike.

Do check around and make wise decision...

ts already specified his preference of scrambler, so mabbe a honda xr200, there's a also this brand husqvarna which i saw occasionally on the road look cools but dk the consumption. anyway a phantom can be non-uncle-ish if you put in some effort to diy cosmetically, but all depends on your take on cruisers in the first place.

there r plentiful of daelim roadwin 125/150 at cka hq but they r not cheap.

rw 150 is actually 140.2cc engine.

rw is full size bike in class 2b as compared to rest, mostly r moped.

very few tat i know r full size if rw was parked along side with superbike (litre bike), they r about the same size.

it's also among one which has higher fuel consumption due to heavier weight n bigger tire profile (more drag).

if u r one tat want save on fuel, it's better u ride a moped (cub).

anyway buy the bike u like most n not recommended by others.

if u have deep pockets (rich), buy the one u can afford otherwise buy the cheapest n leanest fuel consume bike.

I guess, 2nd hand 4 stroker. Easy to maintain, not bad petrol consumption. Kupz best, like they recommended, insurance not bad, maintenance also easy and cheaper than most 2B bikes.

I ride a CBR150R, but the price for insurance is -.-'', its not even that fast like a sport bike, but its a good bike I would say.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions ...

As suggested, daelim is now no more in my list. I am now preferring:

1. Phantom

2. KupChai

3. TW

i think the phantom is heavier than 2a bike NSR250 a.k.a PGM1/2/3/4. hahah

the phantom dry weight listed as 140kg while PGM3 weight 133kg

may i suggest, FZ150i, RXZ135, YBR125, CG125 they are pretty good transport bike... seriously 2B range of bike are potential "money" saver (if we narrow down to regular stock street bike)

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine
