That's the difference... spending money to mod the bike rather than to repair.

 

Bro, if you get a 1st hand gilera... you'll not be spending much money on repairs... instead, ur hands will be itching to modify.... after you see all our brothers' bikes... that's what i felt.. wahhaha...

 

I would recommend anyone to get a gilera, be it SP, 05, 06 or 07....

 

Coz every bike will have problems...

I placed my IU in the front panel since the day I got the bike 4 months ago, I received two letters from LTA for IU inspection as it unable to detect. Both was at North Bridge Road ERP gantry. I have changed my IU twice. Ask the mech who infd could be the wiring problems connecting to the batt,etc.(Sianz)

Today I went to Changi South VICOM to replace a new IU as the it had died on me again for the third time. But unable to replace one as infd by the staff "SYSTEM IS DOWN"(Craps) .Now Im thinking of relocating my IU visibly.Tired of going up and down to VICOM for IU inspection/replacement.

bro, how does the bullet filter works? does it really help? cos it seems that the air entry is facing the back.. so if on the move, won't it defeat the purpose of scooping the air?

saw a VXR 200 '06 model at a used shop selling for $5500 nett (inclusive of insurance and new roadtax). the bike was registered in Jan 06 and it looks new. for that price, it is reasonable? what is reasonable for a similar model?

The combustion inside the engine will do the sucking of the air..

next time when u service ur scoot, leave the filter/ aribox out, start the engine, rev and feel the suction yourself.

Then u will know how it works

i used to ahve this problem... went back to the bike shop but the problem was not resolved and got stuck at some carparks a few times... quite pissed so i decided to do something myself... i took out the whole wiring n connect directly to the battery... then until now no big...
