for the front headlight yea.. only 1 light will light up. tink low beam is right light, high beam is left light. the only time u get both lights on is wen iat low beam u depress the passing light aka high beam.

for the clock.. if i'm nt wrong at the mode tt shows ya total mileage.. nt the mode tt shows ya trip's mileage... depress n hold 'set' (last button on the right) till u c the clock hr flashin.. den press 'mode' 2 set the hr press 'set' wen u get the desired hr, nw the min will b flashin.. same thing press 'mode' till desired min den press 'set'..

pls correct me if i'm wrong guys..

hi guys, for 06 runner, to mount the bracket for box, the tail fairings have to be drilled(scanned thru briefly earlier pages i saw something to do with drilling thru the tail fairing)?

and any of u guys tried using a super big box (ie 52litres maxia), how is the stability with it on expressways at 90-100?

Anybody can go fast. How about how low you've cornered?

the faster i went was 141km/h with a pillion... and the speed can still go up... went to lim chu kang n try alone, took out my box but i was stuck at 137 km/hr... for cornering i dun dare to band too low coz the stock tires for 06' runner is like not very safe... anyway i saw u at little india area toward bendeemer a week ago... haha...

there is 2 choices, either drill holes or jus simply take out the plastic part above ur tail light... i think the 2nd choice is betta... but jus remmebr to get that plastic part back... dun put the big big box... coz u will get stuck moving between cars...

Is it? I don't even remember..short term memory la. Was I alone? Then never say hi  Eh bro, please don't try at Lim Chu Kang again. Them TPs like to camp there because it's convenient for them. They'll just sit at one nice spot and wait for people to try there. Furthermore, Jurong Police Division HQ is very near only. TPs like to go there and eat snake at the cafetaria so it's convenient for them. Count yourself lucky they weren't there when you did that.

You want to exchange with my Point 33? I removed it 2nd day after I got my bike. It's in pristine condition.

Scrapping the foot pegs then was a IN thing to judge how low u corner...nowadays I guess itz how fast u corner which is the IN thing

Ya and how fast you can urm squeeze through traffic. Without getting urm..squeezed

Wah..52 litres is big leh. Normally fitted on bigger bikes and I think the Runner would look very odd with it. Just my opinion.

alamak i think should not try la...i`m still using the free stock tyre...was doing a left turn and ended up on the road ...when u look at ur scoot u feel like want to cry..hahah..

Why leh bro? Got sand or oil patch is it? So far when I corner low with the runner I find it pretty safe despite the scrapping of the mainstand. I know how you feel. Last time I kena accident with my SP. One month of lying down on the bed in agony, finally got to ride again. Bike went for a complete makeover. Spanking new paintwork. One week later, it was raining and for some strange reason I had a sudden urge to corner then ended up lying on the road. o_O Felt so sian, didn't feel like riding the bike for a few days after that but served me right la.

Believe most of the runner here happen to swap their main-stand

during corner and If anyone can still go lower with the main-stand

mostly likely they might even swap their head too..

Right side can mah

I juz went to PSC and Mr Yah informed me that the english manual is not even ready yet in Italy let alone the whole of asia continent... And he also told me that S'pore is the largest Gilera user in whole of asia combined...

Imagine that? :shades:

I have not seen the tail of the bike yet, if take out plastic part then there will be a big hole? sorry cant visualise what that means?

I dunt think the length of the box will be longer then the handlebars. Will go for smaller if so.

btw, the bike underseat storage space able to fit in 1 full face helmet?

the new gilera has definitely good handling and able to tackle corners easily but you must take into consideration that the main stand will scrap the tarmac...

Especially on the left side... my cuz pratically was slidin and grindin the tarmac while his bike was doin a 360 spin... Fortunately it was at Pasir Gudang track and not on s'pore road or he'll be under any car by that time.

he later told me the left side got caught on the tarmac and his rear wheel juz gave way. :slapforehead:

so if u peeps wanna corner and pick coin  , remove the main stand... that way cornering will be fun.

the underseat storage can easily store any full face helmet... the italians already thought of that coz back in their country, every spagetti, linguine and macaroni wears a full face helmet...

a box too big will affect ur bike stability and yes..... the box will wobble on it's own when u move off and hit any bumps and potholes on the road... if you wanna more storage space, add a siddecar to your gilera, :D . Just joking...
