You can't buy happiness, but you can buy a bike, and that's close enough.

hmm...at least got one that works for you, mine revtec just like what u experience with yr broquet. Currently considering trying out the broquet.

I wonder are auto scooters especially X9 are sensitive to all these stuff either none actually works or we are unable to experience drastic changes after installing them....:giddy:

did u use the class 2B or 2A version of the revtec?

welcome to the family of X9 :cheer:

is yours evo or amalfi? (200 or 180cc)

it will not disappoint u in terms of comfort. It is a lot more comfortable than TA200 (I rode a TA150).

There is a SBF annivesary coming soon ... should have a few x9 going too

No, the Piaggio scooter meet and SBF annivasary r two different events.

X9 has a love-hate relationship with quite a few of its owners so far ... u need to know know how to take care of it. If u r keen to learn how to dismantle the fairing, u can drop me a PM. I will be stripping the fairing in a few days time for some mini projects :thumb:

Hi,

Call me at 97960980 for more detail :)

Welcome to the X9 family :) It seems that the x9 family is growing ... which is great!

hmmm ... can't really think of any X9 problem that can be checked without any dismantling. Perhaps u can check the steering cone, which most of us have to change after 2-3 years?

i just pray that the previous owner dont sabo me lor..but i will be going straight down to wm after getting the scooter for botak full servicing. he sure kb me for being a carrot again.. i guess....

For fairing, u can send for respray. Missing screws can buy from any hardware store, or the shop selling mainly screws behind Ah Boy.

The grey plastic can be restored to almost new condition using engine oil. No need to replace! If u wan better quality, can use the Maxima SC1. The plastic on my 3 yrs old Evo still look very new by applying the SC1. :thumb:

anyone know how much is body fairing X9 amalfi? there are missing screws n its not looking very good.. which shop better to go? forget to add... im just looking to replace e grey body esp ard e tank n underneath it... thank

Botak dun quite encourage changing unnecessary things lar ... for your own good. I kanna niao by him for wanting to change the exhaust to Leovince.

U all can PM Brembo to change the SBF status. Maybe gotta wait a few days as he can be busy with his work.

My X9 recently got a problem, when the speed is increasing, the RPM will fluctuate from between 5000RPM to 7000RPM and the bike will start to vibrate as if there were not enough fuel feed to the bike, but when you try to increase the throttle, the RPM went smooth but not everytime can success.

yesterday the problem comes again and this time the bike fluctuate from between 5000RPM to 7000RPM and finally comes to a stop (broke down). The bike was tow to the bike shop and the CDI was replaced due no power(voltage) was found transmitting from the CDi, i replaced the belt, speed clutch as well which costs me total arnd $6XX. unfortunately the problem comes back again on my way home, the bike drag badly on the road , it was like a drunk X9. really need some advise here, anyone can help?
