Selling my X9 ( FX****U ) pearl white in colour and is in good condition engine oil & spark plug changed every 3000km service done at future scootering.

things i have change for e bike :

Polini Speed Control, Speed Clutch, Speed Bell , GPR pipe , braking disc brake ( less than 2 mth old ) , michelin tyres ,volt meter , mikuku rear shocks , alarm with remote etc..

It might be the tires that require replacement, maybe they're out of shape. Or it might be the steering cone that needs to be replaced. Either 1 of this problems from what I know. I had the same problem, and it was the Steering Cone for me. Had it replaced.

Belt and Magnetic Coil changed on 15th Dec 07

 

Using Michelin Gold Standard tyres.

 

I use only good engine oil during my time with the bike.I'll change my engine oil and spark plug every 3000km service done by future scootering.

 

Other accessories installed:

1. Alarm System with seat opener. Spare remote control available.

2. Digital Voltmeter

3. Mikuku rear shocks

4. 1 Bottle Cages on the front panel to put your can/bottled drinks

5. Stebel Electric Horn.

6. Cover for the LCD panel.

 

Water pump no problem. Have been riding this baby since May 07. Im not sure if the previous owner has changed them though.

 

All servicing & accessories done at future scootering

 

Road tax will be till oct 08.

 

Reluctant Sale. Work requires me to have 4 wheels.

 

Cash only. Financing has to be sourced for by buyer. Transfer fees also borne by buyer.

 

Doing about 350km per tank before hitting reserves.and im heavy! if you are lighter than me..you can definitely get more.

Just met a VXR Runner in my school, he does his servicing at Sunrise too! Gonna get him to help me check how much does the LV or GPR for X9 500 cost.

 

Btw, any aftermarket Rear Shocks to recommend? Preferably not more than $300. Bitubo this kind no need to talk.

but i got ask the mechanic there regarding the pipes.. according to him x9 cant use LV its illegal but i dun noe izzit true...

I remembered correctly, only LV & GPR approved. Because someone asked before if Polini one could be used, and the answer was only LV and GPR. Though I see alot of GPR and no LV.

Personally, I feel a Private Seller is a better option. Bike Shop pricing are always pretty high. I'd actually recommend the Garage Section rather than a shop.

It really depend. Some Seller spend lots of good stuff inside the bike and not going let off cheap. But of cause it up to buyer to decide isit worth it.

 

Etc. Speed control, Pipe, sound system, or just full overhalt.

 

Anyway i soon to be a X9 rider. Hope those Old birds can enlighten us more.

My fork have funny sound (soft) i only hear it when i parking, but there no leaking at all. is it normal or else as I driving old X9 ...is it posible to just add lubricant or any...

Like what soundless said, it really depends. Like my X9 500, market price is about $1500 to $2000. But I'm changing all the parts that can be changed to Polini, going to change to a GPR Full System, so on so forth. If I do sell my bike (Which I definately won't), cannot be I still sell at $1500 to $2000 right?

Now I'm thinking of ordering in the GPR Titanium Slip-On, then go to Seng Kwang to make a Stainless Steel Header or check with Piaggio if they have the Stainless Steel System from the X9 500 Evo.

y not consider stock? modding can become an obsession instead of a hobby. Benefits only the businessman and not the rider

 

Hmmm... You might be right that modding might become an obsession.

 

But I won't mod everything. I've already told myself what I want to mod and saved it into a Microsoft file. So I won't overdo it. Exhaust is a must though! Mine's starting to rust, and my Exhaust Gasket needs to be changed.

Isn't there any other active X9 Members? I was thinking of outing, because the last time I had an outing was with the Mito group when I was riding a Mito myself. It was so shiok! Like almost 10 to 20 of us including RS125 and RS250. Then now, X9 like no one.

bro horizoner, did u experience the head unit switch off by itself or unstable last time... the player work very fine don't worry.. but maybe because of age, last 2 days abit weird. just now go botak there, but he say no problem with the wiring..
