you got take out the cable from the front wheel and try manual turning? see whether the speedo move. if move, most likely sensor konz.. if dosent move, better go change a cable. i think less than 20 include labour.

I just came back from Tasik Chini and Kuala Lipis, with my B650.

I've never driven any motor vehicle for more than 6 hours continuously (let alone a 2 wheel) before and with B650, I DID it.

On the return journery from Kuala Lipis to JB, it was a grueing 468 km, I started at 3 pm with a light meal and travelled through the winding roads of Malaysia in between mountains and jungles for abt 3 hrs (my right wrist was sore due to the constant opening and closing of throttle, I tried using brakes for conerning but was not skilful, often turned either too big or too little)before I hit the Highway at Ayer Keroh near Malaka, then it was much easier (more or less constant throttle), but it was dark when I hit the highway and continued for another 220+ km to JB town before having dinner. Heavy thuder storm atr highway but lazy to stop to wear raincoat. (This scooter can shlter you if you don't mind a bit wet). My speed was average 80 km/hr on country road and 130 km/hr in NSHW.

This experience has strenghtened my confidence of this scooter. Before this journey, I only change tyre and EO (both are due anyway), no special/extra maintenance. Through this journey of 1423 km (from SG to Tasik Chini to Kuantan to some other small places then to K Lipis and back to SG), I checked the temp guage, it was ALWAYS at 3 bar (no more no less), no matter how long I drive. There is no loss of EO or coolant only petrol ha ha. I use Manual OD in highway (I tot it more fuel economical) and for mountain roads I switched to D. I like the sound of the engine when I twisted throttle to overtake cars. The scooter can overtake ALMOST ALL motor vechicles I encountered on the montain roads, except on NSHW where BMWs and Mercs and some SG sport bikes overtook me.

I only felt my bum a bit ache after sitting, so I sat on one side of my buttocks and changed side here and then, but my leg feel great, as I could place my feet in 3 different locations (1. straighten with feet V shape, 2. feet on foot rest with leg slightly bent, 3. leg bent at 90 deg, just like sitting on a chair)

Just to share my ex. on this scooter.

People ask me, "Why ride bike?" I ask them back :"Why drive car?"

H bros,

Im currently using LV exhaust on mine burgman. I find tat the rpm is unstable when i hold throttle at 2.5k-2.8k rpm. Also i find that the bike onli moves when i throttle up to 3.5k - 4k rpm. Is it normal? for burgman to move off at that rpm? cos i find it quite dangerous when im doing small and slow turns which requires very little throttle to prevent falling. everytime i throttle too little i can feel any power engage to the wheels, its like making a turn on neutral gear. If i throttle too much, i tend to wide turn alot. :giddy:

for the burgman an650 exec, only a handful of the 2006 models were brought in. after that, there was no more importation. cos this bike is not easy to sell. just imagine, i bought my 2006 model, brand new last year July 2007. the last piece was sold this year. 2 years before i got this bike, i bought my 2006 model an400. so think abt it.

but, who knows, look ard, u might be lucky. but sadly, only ASP dare to sell this bike. been a long time since Looi's sells this bike.
