TRY THIS ! : When the bike is warmed up put it on the centre stand, then start the engine, put the hand brake on and rev the engine up to about 5K rpm for just 2 or 3 seconds. Just be sure the bike is secure when u do this !!!

Should be able to clear the noise as the belt needs to bed in.

Otherwise remove the whole left cover and clean area on inside the covers, filter and around the inside of belt casing, then change the final drive oil - about 330 mls (about the amout in a can of coke) of the same oil you using for the engine. This should cure all the squeaks.

this seems to be of no different from launching from a traffic light at high RPM.

Leds? on where? if on front pilot light, no prob. if use on the rear, unless can shine on the rear number plate. if use as 'christmas' tree, not approve. cos its distracting to other road users.

Fitting decorative lamps to vehicles are not allowed as they may cause confusion and distraction to other road users.

Yes i did mean the Handbrake. The reason for this is that the left brake may be too powerfull to hold the rear wheel from spinning and you could damage the CVT system or even the brake components. The hand brake WILL slip and could be considered expendable and cheaper to replace if damaged or worn out.

If you got the confidence try pulling away gently from a stop and when you reach about 3k rpm open wide the throttle till you reach "OH MY GOD" !! Then quickly reduce to slow down otherwise kenna summon!

Alamak, there goes my Knight Rider thingy...

You can check out a LED series from Philips.

Its call daytime running light.

According to Europe Regulation or ECE. Daytime running light is a standard for their vehicles. So if you purchase this and install. TP catch you. Show them this regulation and say you are following only. WHich of course locally not enforced as yet.

But if you make it blink like niterider.. .then good luck

For those who bo chap wanna try...

Come here and take a look

http://www.ice4bikes.com/iceled.htm

Found this back in 05 while i tour UK. Didnt get it cos of high currency exchange. But i should say this is the best BLINK! Originally designed for military purpose. Now become IAM product. Its really making u feel like close encounter of the 3rd kind. The thing is u are th UFO.. hahahah:cheers:

Wah! You dangerously close to pushing your bike to the petrol station:sweat:

My record was only 15 plus liters.

So what's your mileage on 16.03 liters?

heh heh... was at eugene saddlery to customise a backrest for my E45 :shades:

+ anti-slip matt-black fabric on front

+ light silver coloured "Silver Wing" printed on bottom right of front

+ titanium silver colour on side skirtings

+ cushion contoured for better "fit" of pillion's back

+ to be mounted with 4 screws so that it can flush with box's contour

... damage is $40

will post pic when its fitted... u can go find eugene if u like the design :cheeky:
