after run-in , i still travel ard this speed for FC:)

my max ard 120-130km/h. can't go higher liao:(

this is good practice... i get best FC traveling at around 100kph and restricts myself to a max of around 120+kph, not because bike can't go faster but see no point in taking the unnecessary extra risk... especially when i ride 5 expressways (KPE-BKE-PIE-KPE-ECP) from home to work :shades:

if we plan our ETA & ETD well, there's no need to rush

Bro, how come only 130km/hr max??

Or u only try in Singapore Roads?

Bring your wing up to GP Essos for petrol, think u can hit 160km/hr at least.

My wing can only hit 160km/hr, and at this top speed, i experience a power cut

Hit 170 only once when traveling downslope on NSH.

Yup yup, got powercut ard 170km/h..cos by then ur rpm near red zone already. so any higher it will cut when the rpm touches the red zone. Try changing to Dr. Pulley, faster pick up and higher top end ! Clocked between 175 - 180 km/h ! Its :thumb:

And at higher speed i notice that the rpm is lower too, lower by at least 400 - 500 rpm. tested with another stock bike tat went up north with me

2 roads diverged into a wood, and I-I took the road less traveled and that makes all the difference!

this is what Mr J says...

  Quote

Notice: There are news spreading around by some people saying sliding rollers wear out the variator, so to make our customer feel safe on using our product, we will replace your variator to a brand new one if your variator is wear out by the sliding rollers that installed by Tai Hin.

Note: Warrenty does not cover normal wear and tear.

p/s: To prevent your variator from wearing out, please change rollers every 12000 km (original variator) and multivar every 5000km. Improper installation, wrong weights and size will wear the variator too

wah lau eh... if change rollers and multivar so often... pok liow :slapforehead:

any damaged to the bike i not sure yet, cos yet to open up to change a new set since i done a belt change @ 25000 km mark. Been using it since then and went up north 2 times already, so far no problems. :)

i didnt change multivar, only rollers. Original belt and u-clips oso..as for exhuast i not sure if it affect, cos i change the exhuast b4 changing the rollers. And my air filter oso change to K&N filter too..

For exhuast change only, i can feel the power difference during pick up and mid range. As for top end, if rollers are stock, the top end is ard there only thing is that u reach top end slighty faster lo. Throttle feels lighter too, but the noise i dont really like cos not tat slient anymore. So if u guys wan a quiet ride i suggest u stick to stock exhuast. If u really wanna change then look out for the O2 sensor, see if the exhuast u wanna change have a place for u to mount it, if not u have to remove the sensor and MIGHT (i'm not sure) have to tune with PC or dyno. Cos i heard that the O2 sensor will auto tune ur bike if u change exhuast.

2 roads diverged into a wood, and I-I took the road less traveled and that makes all the difference!

Hi,

My swing is nearing 10,000km already. Just like to ask fellow riders wat recommended servicing to do at this mileage.

I'm thinking of doing

1. Engine oil + oil filter (last change at abt 1,100km)

2. Coolant change? (Still stock)

3. Gear/final drive oil change? (Still stock)

Spark plugs + air filter (both stock) maybe doing only at 20,000km. Read somewhere that they both can last that long rite?

I'm also interested in knowing when do we have to replace the rollers and u-clips? Cos the manual never mention abt the replacement cycle for such items, or did i miss it?

Did i overlook any other servicing that needs to be done? Pls advise, thanks! :)

set to min 3 then. since your bike still new, there is no need to look at after-market shocks. unless u do play with your bike.
