Wats the longest period anyone went before changing the belt?

Mine is near 30,000km and still going strong..

 

Btw, anyone knows where can get Original Bridgestone Hoop rear tire? My rear botak liao...

hi, other than physically see the belt for weAR and tear, is there any other way to know? like rpm rev higher or pick up no power etc....?

just got a new HP printer from SITEX... now have 2 used but quite new Canon ink cartridges PG40 (black) & CL41 (colour) to give away... PM or call me if interested.

i'll keep them for a week and throw away if no takers... hope not to waste :p

so follow e manual or juz hiong???

 

plus now e SW got this "V" indicator that ll light up when its time to change belt ma..

Belt u open up ur cover and check see if belt no signs of cracking.. then use lor

24K light up meh? tot its 14K .... hmmmm

can reset the light can carry on......

 

2009.. hmmm if its from the net.... maybe worth the $$ if not ..forget it...

24K light up meh? tot its 14K .... hmmmm

can reset the light can carry on......

14k? mine didn't show when i crossed recently

think the V light is set to some odometer readings since there's no "meter" to check/measure the wear-n-tear of the belt... most will just reset and ride on till the next manual inspection

 

if you fly the SW like Valentino Rossi in motor gp, surely the belt (probably the whole bike) makan faster than others who ride leisurely :angel:

i think the manual state 24k km means thats the min it can last accordingly to rough user. If gentle user can last longer bah.. if not rough user need to change at 12k km instead.

No. No & off. Some time going at 120km/h. Esp in the morning, if not late for work. Mostly stay at 100 - 110lm/h in Expressway but sometime just stay at 90km/h.

Yes, in the manual it stated at 24K change belt. But many of the old timers already tried and it can go beyond 24k. Like 2wheeler bro had ever tried going over 50k.

 

I had got mine check by "Mr Botak" at 24k and he told me every thing looks good. So just cleaned up and lubricate the transmission area. Few of our bros here i believe also already going beyond 24k right now I think.

 

As for the "V" indicator, I had reset it at 24k. So next will be at 48K. Imagine 2 years and 2months in my riding now, yet to change my transmission belt.
