Just realised I forgot ans your question...

 

I tink when belt at towards the end of the lifespan, u will feel your bit less responsive, lack of power, poorer fuel consumption as the belt has begin to lose its tension.

 

**This theory is assumed from a normal spocket and chain bike... the chain will gradually become longer and you need to adjust. Until cannot adjust, u need to change...**

 

Guys please correct me if im wrong. I no expert also.

I think is not that way. From what my mech told me is when belt start to wear off. you will need a higher RPM to reach yours speed.(example: Normally for X9 to reach 100KM/h, rpm should be @ 6.5-7. But when belt start to wear off, to reach 100km/h, you need about 8-8.5rpm.)Due to the wear and tear @ the side rubbing)

Damm, the new malaysia custom dammn jiat lat, winding here and there. For those who usually pump mobil Esso or Caltex would have to made a detour soon once the new custom for exit and entry to malaysia starts.

Yes it has been awhile !! Been busy working & riding the SW. Doubt i will be able to make it for the 14th as i should be working in Indonesia on that date.

 

Just caught up with my mail !! By the way on mods to the SW - i got a pair of ORIGINAL ?? BMW Grips for mine - But some itchy hand go and twist the throttle side either backwards or forwards (or both) and it became loose and every time accelerate then throttle closed. So i give up and took the ruddy things off and put on "PRO GRIP". Seems very tight and comfy and not GEL - only $16 from LAB.

 

Any one interested to take a return ride to KL this weekend - leaving midnight saturday and back by Sunday night / early monday am ??

Should be a Euro. You can check if you got the overtaking mode button at the left handle bar, if yes it is a JDM.
