Thinking of getting a bike after years of lay-off, could someone advise which place is giving the best pricing as well as support for the bike?

Called Bike Production and Mah and seems like the former one is cheaper. Any comments?

:giddy:

I think you got to do a bit of window shopping to bike shop physcially, chat up with the salesman directly to get a good deal...

Have not been riding for a while and would like to get back into the biking community.

While searching for a SW400 this few days, I have received quotation from many companies and have narrowed down to Bike production and Mah. Appreciate if you could advise what should I look out for before confirming on the deal (i.e paying deposit) and what should I look out for when collecting the bike.

Items to Check Before buying:

- OTR bike price (with comprehensive insurance)

- Interest rate

- Any free gift

- Delivery Dates on bike

- Colour of Bike

Items to check During collection

- Bike starts properly

- Lights functioning

- Top Up oil

Bro, I think what you mentioned is good enough liao. paper work check and visual inspection before collection your bike... make sure you are full satisfied with the conditions and brief a bit on the bike functions before move out of the motodiam...

last but not least, ask the mechanic how to open the fuel cap cos it is the first thing after roll out of the shop. last time gong gong dun know how to close the fuel cap ( need to turn the cap like cars ) after pump petrol, kanchiong... after a few pratice, now get used to it liao..

happy riding....:cheer:

If your bike is from Boon Siew, you might need to go down and collect the warranty card at Boon Siew.

Is it possible for me to ask for a good set of tires instead of using the default ones? If the price is reasonable, I may consider this.

Heard IRC is not better den Hoops...

I would like to change to a good pair of tyre too.

But dun seem to read any conclusive info on which is the best performance on wet road condition.

Any suggestion?

What is available in Singapore and where is selling?

that "angel eyes" headlight is similiar to what the SYM GTS is using. Perhaps can check it out at Weda along Rowell Rd whether got spares. But of course, I dun think it'll 100% fit in our S.Wing, definitely require some modifications...

I don't blame people who doesn't show courtesy, they just didn't get taught on how to do so.

From what I know, HOOPS are harder, thus lifespan longer but not that reliable on wet surfaces... :cheeky:

IRC tyres not so good, changed to Dunlop after 3 months using my stock IRC. Everytime wet road i did a few "butt swaying" in the middle of the road. The Dunlop ones are much better. Still in search of a good pair of tyres tho
