Wow! yesterday 6.30pm at junction near tampines Ikea, me majesty and foresight and siverwing stop at junction traffic light.

First time i hear the silverwing engine, sounds so sweet! like a super-four. you know the silky smooth sound - unlike the single cynlinder putputputput sound. Did i hear wrong? Is it because of the twin cynlinder and twin cam that makes this sound? Very nice man.... :)

I think it is the twin exhaust end can that is producing the sounds...

Heard IRC is not better den Hoops...

I would like to change to a good pair of tyre too.

But dun seem to read any conclusive info on which is the best performance on wet road condition.

Any suggestion?

What is available in Singapore and where is selling?

There is Dunlop.

And from HKL thread, Ah Bee quote me $218 pair inclu.wrknship for Michelin.

I think SW not much choice cos of the rim sizes, if have other options, would like to try a elephant tyre ( metzeler )

Look what i had found from Metzeler website.

Metzeler

Found that there is a new tire call 'Feelfree' from Metzeler for scooter and have our sizes. But the question is, any agent brought it in? How is it compare to Dunlop & Bridgestone?

First of all, my rpm had been set to 1K. Whenever I start when engine is cold, it will raise till abt 1.8K - 1.5K rpm. It will then slowly go back till 1K rpm. From there then I move off. Understand that this is due to the auto-choke warming up the engine.

I seriously don't know if moving off while it is still warming up will cause any harm to the engine or etc...

So, I rather be safe. :cheeky:
