yea stroker i think ur right, and i think the serious damage came from the above. the jaming sound was really heart-breaking, twice somemore.

 

You havent sold ur CDI yet? wah dont tempt me leh, i still need to sell the vxr exhaust...buy the proper 1 for dna than can start to think abt ur CDI.

 

why dont you reserve it for a couple of mths for me to get it.

Ya the power cut comes in at 9.5k RPM. Anyway, the suspension can be purchased at ah boy, should ask michelle how much she paid for hers.

Yo bro.. Juz got back my bike yesterday. Juz now still saw some droplets of coolant water on the floor, dunno how izzit. Will bring back to Bro Stroker if prob persist.

 

I believe is the technique to start e bike, still learning...

well, the initial use not that good maybe due to the new belt;

it needs to kid of run in also

 

the ride feels smoother/lighter

moving off the rpm is slightly higher

fuel consumption dont think any much difference

top speed dont really know cos i am no speed freak.i hardly go beyond 110km

acceleration i think not much difference, maybe slightly better

 

im using 10,5g i think

i too experience the same prob as u..

 

i changed new belt, u-clip n dr puller 11g, service transmission @ taihin..

moving off require higher rpm.. cos i dun like to rev my bike v high rpm... so actually slower pickup compared to b4 change...

louder than previously... not v loud... juz noticeable regarding the difference..

will jerk after moving off... more obvious w pillion...

 

was told that it's due to that clutch slip problem.. after the service, the bike got more power, the old clutch unable to cope with the power tats why it will slip.

need to modify/change clutch...

 

is it true??

O.o, I have a GPR for sale, but its for VXR200 not for DNA leh, the header on the pipe is short de, you can see the pic in scooter classified.
