Queries on Honda cub with rear disc brake

Hi guys,

 

I saw this middle age despatch guy riding a black shiny honda cub. I thought its just a normal bike but I notice a change. There is a rear disc brake. I doubt that guy would modify the bike as its FBE plate. Should be a new bike i think. Didnt manage to really check much.

 

Oh ya, there is a red colour sticker with a letter 'R' (if im not mistaken for something else) on the side fairings.

 

So if anyone in here knows what model is that, please let me know.

Honda Wave. Got Wave-S. Wave-R. Cant remenber the next one. Think it Wave-I. Nowadays those kups with drum brake can be modded into rear disc brake also.

Hi bro, thanks for dropping by. I used to ride the wave-i before till da fuel injection starts to create problems so got to sell it off at such a huge loss. Damn dat bike cost $4k plus. End of da day, got only $700 cash after 4 years of using it.

 

I knew abt da modification thingy but i refuse to accept its being modified. Looks like a new model to me. Let me enquiry abt this. I will post it if i got info abt it.

I knew "Honda Wave-X" has a version with rear disc brake. You can check with the shop.

my ex wave s has a rear disc brake. mod 1 la lol

Wave r has a version with rear disk brake. The caliper is red in color. Not modded.
