I'm interested in this NOLAN N42.

 

Can anyone tell me if it is PSB approved? Because it has a small portion of tinted visor, than if kena fined because of this small tinted portion, i might as well get a whole tinted.

 

And if possible, the price =]

That small tinted portion I believed act as a sun glare/protection from the eyes.The portion can be moved up me think.

I know it is to block sun glare and yep it can be moved independently. It is called the Visual Protection System (VPS).

 

My question is:

1. Is it considered as a tinted visor? (if caught will kena $50?)

2. How much is the price?

Can enquire from HKL.Last time was quote in the region of $200/-.Personally I think it was not considered a tinted visor.But to be sure you can check with the relevant authority.

I wear my full face helmet even when zipping ard on my vespa, cos my personal opinion is that I would look more funny with a metal brace on face if ever my jaw hits the tarmac from being exposed wearing an open face helmet.

 

But of course I also subscribe to 2 underlying beliefs,

1) that I am quite a lousy rider who is not invulnerable

2) that sometimes, **** happens even if I am in the best riding form

 

Tough helmets? All proper full face (excluding flip-up modular helmets) should provide ample basic protection.

If I am budget constrained, I would choose an MHR or a HJC, both available at ard $150.

hahah... i just bought a MFIZZ Evo2... hahah well.... i'll use it for a while... than maybe convert it to a pillion helmet... than i'll buy a full face...

 

and personally, yea.. ur beliefs should be in every riders mind...

Bought a GDR Carbon look FF flip up helmet yesterday on 8/9/07 from HKL... Never used before... Selling cos bought on impulse cos very nice.. But the biggest XL has prob fitting my big head... Selling at $130.. Interested call Darren at 98274455. Thanks.

Hi all, my fren passed me his full face Arai helmet but its quite old liao n the padding inside all faded n disintegrating (got powdery stuff coming off). My question is can the entire internal padding and lining be changed? if not it'll be quite a waste to throw the helmet away...
