yea man, i only planning to ride till my army finish..

im turning 20 this yr btw...

exactly what i said

I guess there's an upside to only learning bike at a relatively older age like me... Insurance costs won't be so crazy!

it wasn't that expensive when i started out riding.

How bout debit card? Debit card quite easy to get for student

boring rider. with a boring bike.

too old to want to appear interesting anymore.

Yup.. its the same technique. Since the requirements is 8 secs, 2 secs longer than Class 2A, U may have to use ur brakes to slow down. Use small movements of ur clutch level with some throttle control at the same time. Try not to clutch in completely which will make it difficult to get to the biting point or it may 'catch' the biting too abruptly which can cause the bike to jerk forward, or can even stall the bike.

Posture plays an important role. Make sure u grip the fuel tank, knees bend if necessary. Concentrate more body weight on the fuel tank, rather than on ur feet. Having to much weight and/or uneven weight on 1 of the foot rest too much can cause ur handle bar to change directions.

some bikes seem to not be able to do bumpy as well as other bikes leh...

if the bike is nice can use clutch to do only :cheeky: but if not must frantically tap rear brake to slow down :giddy:

yep, students now have a choice for a tertiary card, which many assume as a credit card.

but i have ask NTUC about it and they label it as debit card. As such debit card are not allowed to use to pay for their monthly installment premium.

so now the only option we have is through 1 time payment of cheque or cash :dot:

Wah $300 only ah! Any idea how much it would cost now, for a rider of the same profile (your age back then) with a Phantom?

how old are u now?

Right now, 26. After one of the lessons, I was chatting with one guy who took the same lesson as me and he asked me how old I was... When I told him, he immediately said "Wah so old then learn bike ah!"

Nabeh.

Come on, 26 is old? I got my 2B licence when I was 29, and it probably saved me from doing dangerous things when I was younger. The advantage of taking lessons when you're older is that you get to go out early on TP test date at SSDC.
