Look for features rather than brand. Features such as leather reinforced palm, carbon fibre knuckles etc.

Although that being said, I prefer my Dainese Motodon now rather than Alpinestar Stella.

My palm is super small (from wrist to top of middle finger = 6") and Motodon fits well. Stella is a bit too long in the fingers, and it's full leather so it's a bit stiff.

Jacket can buy quite cheap at Motoworld. Something is better than nothing. Mine is some cheap RS Taichi jacket. Will buy the top end stuff after I get Class 2 :p

I can never understand this way of thought.

Do you suddenly need "top end stuff" after you get your class 2? I would imagine the need to have the best gear you can afford, regardless riding a class 2b, 2a or 2 bike.

time to train up your riding stamina sis, if you wanna go touring up north, it's usually stop rest every 2 hours or when a bike needs filling up.

@ronz: touring wear light is asking for trouble don't you think? scary man...

haha when go touring wear light so u don't feel tired. hee

i dont think the tiredness has to do much with the gear you are wearing, it's the amount of concentration you need while riding at >120kmh constantly on the nshw, and the wind blast hitting on you. not very safe to ride continously w/o breaks.
