Certain versions of Nero 7 won't install properly, let alone run correctly unless you've purchased their most recent version off their website.

Office 2007 definitely works. It's supposed to do so hand in hand with Vista anyways.

I'm guessing that Vista probably abandoned support for older graphics cards such as that card that you've shown to us.

Why I'm giving this kind of educated guess is because on my computer, Windows (Vista) Movie Maker actively rejected my old ATI Radeon and refused to launch, saying that my graphics card was not supported. I guess yours suffered the same predicament as well.

My Vista Ultimate rocks, no problem at all. And of course, Winzip does work here on my PC.

Great viewing on a 32" TV! Should have upgraded much earlier!

Vista's WORD. Simply hard to used. So many tabs + very confusing. to find a particular command, must go here and there to search it.Nt user frenly like XP Home.

Matter of getting used to it.

I'm using XP at home. And using W2K and Vista at work.

Vista still has backward compatibility issues. And of course a lot of hardware still has driver issues with Vista.

There's a reason why DELL is now giving buyers a choice of VISTA and XP systems.... where a few weeks back they were exclusively doing Vista only.

Naturally, M$ will deny this.

Enjoying Vista Ultimate now. Beautiful. No complains.

Works wonders on a 32" screen!

Vista is just, well, IMO Windows XP in a beautiful nightgown with a tiara. The UI is just the same. A little splatter of convenience here and there, plus the inclusion of premium "home-producer" programs (eg Win Movie Maker, Win DVD Maker, Win Photo Gallery) -- and you've got a Mac OS X wannabe.

Initially, I had high hopes for Vista before it came out -- and I even anticipated that they were likely to "copy" Apple's Mac OS X's features and mimic its UI. Seems to me it didn't make the cut or that it couldn't be a "copy-cat" due to legal restrictions...

Ah well, i'm gonna wait for Service Pack 1...and where the heck is WinFS?!

WinFS was cancelled. Didn't work out.

Would have made Vista worse than the struggling duck that it already is today.

Anyone using Office 2007 should SAVE AS your office doc/XLS/PPT in Office 1997 to 2003 format. Otherwise, forget about opening the file using Office XP and before.

Not really...I do suppose Windows Home basic, the lowest most stripped-down version of Windows, costs around that price or maybe higher.
