Anyone have any idea what brake pads are use and the price?

 

Also the tyre pressure for the bike, i think there is a post that talks abt it but i cannot find it

My tyre pressure ---> Front-215

Rear-235

 

Brake pad I hear theres two type... price range from 30++ to 50++

Oh ya... safe ride for those joining Sensible to M'sia tml...

 

Tml sure Traffic Jam In most road in city area... so to all riders be xtra careful and ride safe... njoy a long long weekend... hehe...

 

Exam next week sianz... have to study... Maybe after my exam in Sep organise a makan trip... Let see how ba... :thumb:

We only got 5 riders.

Bro, i guess the reason my friend cancelled the trip is bcos he felt that the more riders there are, the merrier it will be.. :)

Yo..

 

There are 3 kinds of brake pads so far for x8.

 

First - Jap brand "Yashida (something like that)" - $30

Second - EDC from England - $50 plus

Third - Original - $60 plus.

 

The EDC from England is good, but after i installed on my front brakes, there was a screeching sound of the brake pad rubbing against the front brake discs when i go slow at abt 15km/hr.

No matter how much water or times which i use the air-gun to i wash the brake pad, the sound wouldn't go away.

 

 

Just change to the $30 one this week for my front brake.

Screeching sound gone.

Braking effect lose out to EDC though.

 

Back tyre still remain as EDC brake pad.

Haha... nvm... I also didnt know its u till I see ur top box with 3 orange strips sticker... haha... then ur exhaust also sound different from normal X8...

 

U mean u taking class 3 or 2A ? this sep I hoping I can save enuff for class 2A then class 3 too... Setting My eye on the new up coming Xevo 400... I was hoping piaggio SG may bring in Hybrid scooters thou it will mean having less storage for underseat... but FC & pick up is amazingly good (read in piaggio site) Click here

Me doin fine bro, glad to hear everyone taking bigger class license. Met an X8ers while im taking my class 2 lesson last saturday :cool:

HUH??!!/..... that's very bad bro.....did you analysis how it happen??:faint:

 

so far riding for past few years never heard that the brake pad will fall off by itself..............:cheeky:

 

hmmm.....brakedisc got scratches huh..... think you will have to change the disc liao else the braking effect will definitely be affected by uneven surface fo the disc....... and something worse might result from it just like new chain and old spocket logic........:faint:

becos you chiong too much and then hard braking lah. :giddy: this not 2A bike leh.

Ah gold bro... glad to hear tat ur brake is fix up... safety first...

 

lol... justborn uncle is rite u cheong too fast brake too hard till brake pad become thin slice of paper within mths... hehe... :p

 

For me now... 1 paper down... left 3 papers to go... tml 2nd paper... more or less can pass lah.. haha... studying almost every day and nitez... zzz :dozed:
