bro where's piaggio agent ? address tel ? cos i wanna drop by to see & finalise if i shld get e x8...

 

btw x8 400cc does it come wif the box as included package cos a motorshop told mi it dun come with box...

2002-2003 -->aprilia Rs125

2002-2005 -->honda Ta200

2003-2008 -->aprilia Rs250

2006-2008 -->honda ta150

15 jan2008 - 5 Apr 2012 --> x8 400ie

5 Apr 2012 - now --> busa the falcon..

Help needed.

 

Whenever after a trip back, after I've killed the engine, there would be a "tick tick" sound? Whats the problem and cause of it?

 

Been riding a Class 2 bike for 3 years now newbie to X8... :lol:

does not come with box... but u can buy the box from piaggio

erm... the sound come from where ??? izzit the exhaust too hot ? last time I first bought it my X8 also have "tick tick" sound from the pipe... too hot i guess... its very common ba ? no issue from the sound i got so far...

 

btw how come u ride class 2 for 3 yrs then y go back class 2b bike ? its okie if dun wanna answer... :p

Yah, bought a new one, 200cc

got it for $8363 (including COE and IU)

Till now, i only manage to run about 200+ km, will be going to pump petrol later.

FC seems to be about 22-23km/l, is this normal? or will it get better?

Anyway, any recommendation on the brand of petrol to pump?

 

bro december... the FC cant be tat low... somemore new bike...

 

normal FC for X8 200cc ranging 25~30km/l...

 

did u try testing on Full tank ??? try again and see izzit the same outcome...

Brownkai, yup who_noe answered on my behalf liao. Used to ride a Suzuki GSXR1000 K2 but sold it already.

 

Had a RXK for transport too but also sold it to a friend and after asking around, I came to know that the X8 is a popular scoot. So far so good, running in is almost complete. 10 litres can fetch me a good 300km before reserve which consists of both mixed city and highway riding. I believe you were right abt the exhaust. The "tick tick" sound came from it... The stock Pirelli GTS or GT5 tires is not bad too.

 

Any X8 outing count me in. I'm looking forward for a round of coffee with fellow X8ers. :smile:

anyway... forget wat i say.. when u get ur bike if they fix the box for u remember to take back the "plastic rack" which is orignally fixed on the back of the bike when without top box... theres quite a number X8ers (200cc) miss out tat part when they got their bike cos it come with free top box mah so usually the box aready fix up liao... its yours anyway.. so must take back hor...

 

let us know when u got your bike... then we have 2 400cc X8ers liao.. :thumb:

 

then might organise a X8ers meet up session... and hope this time round more X8ers bro new or old will join in... and also the ex x8ers bro to show some support on the meet up....

hmm... I think theres one opp Mac along jalan basar... wat i hear is a small shop house operate by a father and son... ? anyone can chip in I also not very sure... Sensi ?

There is also another shop..

U might want to go to a shop name 219..

 

Its located at the juction of Bendemeer and lavendar rd.

U can't miss it,,,

There's this big 219 signboard.

 

Heard alot of good reviews from that shop. :cheeky:

Anyone can help me here?

 

Im ridin runner 07 model..

My petrol meter does not seem to work properly.. It shows half tank

when i only use up for 30km only where normally my half tank is 80km - 90km...

What is the cause of this?

 

And this morning i check the time went wrong...

 

Any advise for this?
