do you guy rock the bike from main stand while sitting on the bike?

 

btw, i also realise alot of ppl use main stand instead of side.. any particular reason?

Most scoots can't start with sidestand down (unless u disable the sensor).

Therefore use mainstand to start and warm up the bike.

 

Eh... don't seem to see many ppl 'rock' the bike off from mainstand.

falcon108 bro , i think u are not totally correct as oceanb70 did mentioned rock while sitting on bike........

 

it all depends on which position the rider is at....

 

by rocking from main stand while sitting on bike, u will spolit the bike mounting

 

if rock from main stand while standing at the side, then it's ok//....

Hi all X8, one quick question.

 

When i try to start my bike yesterday, totally no power / blackout. ie. even the light blinking red color in the centre is gone and of course i cant even open my backseat too. Strange enough after a while (5 - 10 mins) it came back alive. Any idea what is this symptoms signify? Hope they is nothing major wrong

 

Initially i tot my bike battery flat (i just changed it

 

Anyway, this morning i try to start the bike and it went smoothly the whole of today as well, hence i will throw this to all X8ers, anyone here faced similar black out situation before? Do i need to send for check out?

 

Just change my engine oil last week and no major issue so far.

I've heard of this problem about some X8s. It is actually the CDI. Try this the next time the bike dun start (got cranking sound but refuse to start) - turn the ignition key 'off' then 'on' again before you try to start. If it doesn't start, 'off' and 'on' again and try. Don't keep cranking. Your battery will become flat.

 

Oh and forgot to add... it is most likely the CDI problem if when idling (at traffic light or waiting), the engine suddenly die off and cannot start (though got cranking).

bro. was wondering yesterday nite i rode out. n notice when i press my left lever the rear tail light was not lite up but the right side can.but i can stil start my bike with the rite lever.. some seniors.. plz help. thx.

i read the manual saying that you can start your bike with front or rear brake... is it true?? i can only start with the rear one..

yes both side can work.

if your only 1 side,

switch might be spoil.
