how? problem solved? still vibrating heavily??? btw that's very good mileage.... cos when i used to ride my X8 without after market pipe was abt 300-310km and i am gentle with my throttle (cos used my rpm to gauge). Now u can hit 340km is a GOOD thing:)

what's the market rate for 2nd hand x8 now...? if u know the plate n rate i.e fz = is $xxxx.00 n etc... u definitely gives me a big help

i would say that's a reasonable price since it's the last 9xxx series.... plus the mileage quite low.

hehe... i oso feel is quite reasonable. i total view 6 or 7 x8. this is the best deal i feel. plus lv pipe. some fz plate selling 3.9k to 4k oso.btw any bro here knows wats the market value now? meaning is sell back to bikeshop. how much will they take in? anyone ask before?

I heard this x8 is more reliable than x9 , and i hope so is the 400 version =)

Hi all.

 

I just bought a X8 200 last week. Just wondering where is a good and reasonably-price workshop to do servicing. I found some recommendations in the internet (i.e. kallang cycle, wonderful motors, tai hin, etc), but i m not sure if they are as good as they said. Any recent comments or experience with these workshop or others would be most welcome.

 

Lastly. i am looking for the original rack located aft of the rear seat (not entirely sure of the description). Basically, when i bought the bike, it comes with a top box (good condition) which i removed it (looks better w/o it).

 

1. Anyone who has the original rack in their storeroom, pls let me know. i m keen to buy it.

2. Similarly, anyone who is keen to fix on a top box for their X8, i can sell it at a nominal price and in exchange for the original rack.

Those shops u mentioned above are good and experience in repair scooter. Give a try and c which shop you prefer lor.... For my X8 service and repair, I go Taihin, so far i feel comfortable, so din try others shop...:cheeky:

Bro, its hard to tell you the price leh...:sweat: depend on the services package n brand of engine oil. No need too worry abt that, juz drop by n ask, feel comfortable then do, otherwise dun do lor, is normal lah...

change polini 2g clutch and polini bell not long ago,see built quility is better than stock one hopefully can last longer.mine is polini speed control,2 g clutch& bell .performance wise not so difference just smother and less noise.thats all.but u need to pay more than double compare to stock one.
