Bro titanic,

yours also 11g?

hmm..maybe its cos mine is 9.5g, thats why its noisier, hahaha.. I did ask jackye abt it upon changing, and he said it should be ok as long as its not lower than 9.5g...

anyways, after going back to riding normally, now at 230km, and waiting for the oil light to come on, gauge needle almost near red zone. as long as its above 240/10litres, i believe its a worthwhile performance upgrade, these sliders.

bro zeewan and bro lexus, if you guys do monitor your fc, let me know of the outcome ok? I believe you should be getting better fc than before, if you're still riding normally, and not like me when i just installed it. Should be, as the higher weights engages the gears in lower rpm, so it should be quite significant.

funny thing is...stock rollers is 10.3g, and even though you installed 11g sliders; yet still got abit of pickup improvement. bro zeewan, u should try your top speed again. maybe this time can clear meter. hahah...

LOL!!! I wanted to try the top speed with these Sliders... They said it improves top speed... But the problem is, my belt is gonna snap soon... Got crack already!!! After I change belt, I will try at JB...:) Anyways, are we using the same engine as Gilera Runner?

Yup, i installed 11g as recommended.... i tot original one is 10.5g, is 10.3? Actually installed 11g can improved a bit in pickup, but more for acceleration and overtake power with bigger rollers. During the installation i saw other bike installed 13g, i have asked the mechanic why the other can put so big rollers? He told me that depend on bike model. If you change to racing "Malossi VARIATOR MULTIVAR 2000" you can install bigger roller btw 14g-15g. After installed, you will really feel powerful in pickup and overtake power...

For FC, i already pump up full tank the next day, should able to tell you after one week, but i believe will not much different. As you installed smaller rollers, i think tat y ur FC drop obviously....For top speed test, no plc can try in singapore, scare tio catch by TP leh...LOL

Not sure izzit correct, but have to try it out then will noe... haha....:cheeky:

Bro Lexus,

I think even when i install Malossi Multivar; i sure will lower the weights to 10g also.

haha...im pickup crazy, i guess.

Wrong bike to start with, right? hahah....but i love my x8, nevertheless.

Anyways... how's the sliders working for you?

Bro zeewan, also?

Anyways, i read up a review somewhere that a guy driving a car had pumped caltex (with techron) most of the time for his ride; and when he sent in to service a mech actually told him his engine still like new.

Idiot as i am, i tried it out. Full tank, too.

Guess what, now my bike response is slower and slower.

Haiz...its a lesson, i guess. c",) Will stick to Esso Syn 500, or Shell V Power.

i've tried caltex platinum and in my honest opinion guys..it's still better than shell v power, more pricey too..but burn up too quickly..but if you pump caltex in JB,fat hope cause the quality very very different..

Hi I'm new to X8, riding a 5 yr old one now.

I find my underseat not very big, only can put 1 open face underseat and 1 more in the compartment behind. with a box that's about 4 helmets.

Pick up comes slower than my previous majesty, but first day only so maybe i scared like carrot.

Worser than carrot, haven even been able to ride it home, break down halfway now have to tow it back to workshop.

Welcome to the thread, bro...

Anyways, if the storage gets any bigger, it'll be a car already.

hahah...for me, i find it awesome enough that i dont need to lug a box all around; unless i plan to do some shopping. Most of the time, i'm boxless. haha...

Sorry to hear abt your mishap...anyways, where did you get your bike from?

wonder how big the storage space is, though...

sure cant beat our bike, only maxi around which can fit 2 3/4 helmets...

Underseat storage for Joymax is not as big as compare to x8. Howevr, it is big enough to hold 1normal helmet with visal and 1 half cap helmet at ease. Space is good enough for me though. Very reliable scoot and cheaper spare parts when compare to many other scoot brand of similar class.

Bring up X8 thread..... :)

Some information to update:

Today i go to pump petrol at ESSO, juz realise that I usually pump one is 8000 not 5000.... blur... I also noticed that when pump Msia Shell F1 type petrol dunno is V-power anot, cos din remember tat..LOL. The FC consumption drop more than ESSO 8000k abt 10-20KM, it may due to more power generated for the Shell F1 type.

After change to the Pulley slide roller to 11g and pump for few times petrol to observation the FC consumption. Confirmed that the FC will drop estimate around 10km-20km...compare to original rollers.... sia..

Anyone of your change to Pulley slide roller without affect the FC consumption here??

It's a little quiet here.

Anyway, updates.

Got a new block, so running in now.

Realised when I move off from a stop, the bike will groan. dunno if it's the wheel bearing or something from the rear. braking also sound like lorry braking.

think a trip back to the workshop is in line.
