Hi All...

 

 

Just wondering if My friend add me sub rider now, But he older dan me.. Do i still need to get a insurance? Cuz 1 of my friend oso like me.. Become sub rider.. But problem is he dun need to buy a insurance even though he is younger dan owner.. Why is it so? Can anyone help??

Bro, adding of sub-rider means you are adding a 2nd name to the insurance premium, therefore you do not need to get another insurance. You will have to pay for adding of name and maybe top-up for difference in insurance premium. Hope this helps... cheers

the main rider's insurance is his own...by being a sub rider..its only approving you to ride the bike...

 

as a rider..you MUST have valid insurance coverage...

Yeaps.. since the policy owner is older than you, then most likely you have to top-up the difference in insurance premium and admin charge for adding a sub-rider. After that, u can legally ride the bike as your name is in the insurance policy.

You dont need your OWN insurance to ride IF your name is in the insurance policy which covers the bike. Cause if your name is in the insurance policy, its the same as you're having an insurance coverage. Correct me if im wrong... :cheeky:

you don't get your OWN insurance.

 

what you do is you INCLUDE your name in the OWNER's insurance which make you legally riding the owner's bike.
