YES cos I checked up "disc brake" on wikipedia just now...

I am feeling quite broke now, just checked my front brakes properly and there are 2 problems with it: (1) the disc rotor uneven wear until 1 side totally cannot skim due to thinness (2) some of the pistons are rusted and worn out with rubber seals leaking.

Damage: Estimated $850 or more, with $640 for 2 new front discs alone... tried using Super 4 ones but cannot fit... :faint:

But then again, tyres and brakes cannot compromise one...

Wow, $640 might as well go for after market discs....

OEM cost $640 per pair. Aftermarket ones cost $400- $450 per piece. 2 piece is $900..

Still worth buying? Maybe cuz at least its the 'flower' type. less chance of warping and pads last longer due to lesser overheating.

I guess many things could contribute to the vibrations up front bro....One of it can be like was Bro KC said, the steering cone.

Other than that, you might wanna check for uneven wear on your front tyre.

Thirdly, you might wanna check on your wheel bearings which do give up every 2o,ooo km estimated

Fourth i guess, its the whole front assemble bro, triple clamps and all, they all CAN cause the vibrations...I am saying so becos you did do some work on your brake lines recently and that might have involved loosening or tightening the forks.

These will be the cheaper point to fix, ultimately, if there is grinding on your front callipers, then sure you must check the discs, these are just my two cents worth. Try lah, point by point. No reason to worry yet.

Talking about riding, who is game for the ipoh trip next month...after hitting ipoh and spending the night, david suggested heading up to betong and chrislayer suggested heading up to hatyai... Its gonna be a nice ride since there is a break at ipoh. A show of hands guys? Phillip???

There is no pain greater than not being able to ride a motorcycle....

There is no joy more worth mention when riding one,,,,,,,

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Bro Nail, what tool tube?? for AT?? i also want:cheeky:

Phillip and I talked about making a tool tube to fit on the left side opposite the exh can. I need an AT to measure up first and see what the cost will be for materials etc.

Cannot get leave for that trip

Vara is gone but back strain lingers on o_O
