Had a very bad experience today tat I think Its important to share with all of Vara riders here.

Was escorting my fiancee hm as she jus bought a new bike. At a traffic junction along admiralty drive she stopped beside a Vara n I was separated by a car behind on my kupkia. Green light, she had e right of way to turn left but I guessed she was moving off slowly cos not use to e bike. This A-hole, on a Vara tailgated her for few good meters, horned rudely n overtook her dangerously while ramming e throttle!! Dakar racer isit? E mmt I saw my fiancee swerved near e curb, I squeezed thru e car in front of me, made sure she's ok, n gave chase to tat bludy moron but my kup ran outta breath n gotta turn back to check on her. Didnt get his plate no but I'm pretty sure he's staying ard sembawang area. I'm still enraged by dat rider n lotsa crazy things are goin in my mind now but I'll be saddened more if he's one of e guys here, how to join for coffee knowing this type of rider sharing same table, respect lost for a Vara rider.

The bike you saw, is it VAra 125 or Vara 1 k? What color is the bike? Some vara riders are not into the forum, just like other bikers.

 

1 Rotten apple can spoilt the whole basket. It doesn't mean all vara riders are like that. To say that you are losing respect to the Varadero Riders Asia Groups simply means you haven't know this guys enough.

 

To my opinion, they are a a great bunch of fellas, who don't even mind if you're riding other bikes but simply chilling out with them.

 

If the guy is in the forum, hope his actions is being justified. Else, just take it a lesson that Singapore road is indeed a hazardest place to ride. Other road users might do the same thing as that vara riders you mentioned about. And like I said 1 Rotten apple will spoilt the whole basket.So be careful, stay alert,stay sharp and focus during riding.

Chill bro.. maybe that guy's hamster giving birth at home, that's why he rushing home. BTW only ard 10 percent of the varaderos in SG is this forum... The rest 90% not in the forum...
