oh its the same as the my avatar, its used, 10k km , traded in my trusty stx for this, comes with the original yamaha side panniers, yamaha aluminium skid plate,original screw-in headlight protectors and an aftermarket PUIG higher windscreen :)

ahah never tried parallel twin, so try la, no lah where got rugged roads , only simpang bedok to changi village la bro khe khe khe

heee.... Still riding Vara laaa.... Avatar is the CrossTourer, not in yet. Boon Siew also have not decide yet to bring in or not..... But i bet it will be very X, Triumph Explorer going at 41K, so sure it wont be that far on price. So will still be with my Vara for longer... heeee..... Now, hoping for COE to go down next week.....

things just dont seem right anymore these days.

 

cars getting more and more expensive until it is more worth it to buy a continental car given the COE.

and bikes arent getting cheap these days given all the price increases. sooner or later, car owners will downgrade to 2-wheelers, and we all revert to the developing years... or Viet Nam, India, etc.

Hi guys,

 

Help needed.......I think there's something wrong with my H.I.S.S on my Vara. I turn on the ignition and the lights on my speedo console doesn't light up thus unable to start my bike. I've done checks on my batt with a tester and it shows 12.4volts, checked all my fuse....none burnt, put in cashcard into the IU unit and it works, and lastly the clock on my speedo still show the current time.

 

What can be done to rectify this problem besides sending my bike to workshop??

I have a diff problem with my HISS, but opp frm yours. My green lights dosent turn off for many minutes....

 

Might be wiring snap somewhere along the cable? Check if previous owner have instal any extra switch installed to immobalise bike, might accedentally switch off. Mine does have somewhere near the fuse box. Didn't realise untill recently. Please update your findings...
