license plate types

i was quoted $65 for a set of license plate, metal or acrylic also the same price. Is acrylic durable? i think its easier to clean than metal, color lasts right?

Plastic will crack, metal can bend.. I'll prefer metal over plastic anytime..

$65 is too expensive, an embossed metal plate costs $24 IIRC, plastic I think is cheaper..

 

But for lasting I'll cost carbon fibre, they are thick and strong..

I just printed the plate numbers and stick on it, it's not exactly legal..

 

If you want it legal, just paste black background and the legal sized letters..

$65 inclusive of the plate holder that mounts on the car, not just the plates. I getting yellow and white plates, which i feel looks better in smooth surface plastics. If black, i wld also take metal.
