to me i tink 98 is the best. speed not too fast. not much of infinty combo compare to 2K and 2K1. no striker support, fully dependent on player skills. btw come to comic, 97 is the best. total of 52 mag, spend a year collecting it.

Hi guys~

 

Sorry to dig out this old thread but I am pretty addicted to KOF right now... playing 2001 almost everyday on my PC. Personally I prefer '98, '00, '02 in terms of graphics and character animation. But play better at '01.

 

Still much to learn as I've only been playing against CPU and they're honestly not much of a challenge.

 

anyone also play Daytona? I love that game! Hoping to find some like-minded people to join me in the arcades to exchange pointers

I personally think that KOF is a great game and it stands up there with the Street Fighter series as one of the most magnificent fighting games in history.
