Hi All,

Any idea of shops that sells and install power socket for Bike? For GSR 400? I need a socket to charge my iphone during trips so i can use the GPS without the worry of losing battery charge.

Thanks

Hari

you are referring to those cig sockets? i think most shops does it, just buy the cig socket for your regular workshop for them to install.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Someone in the forum used to sell one of those.

Btw, it will be good to get 1 that comes with a good waterproof cover.

You wont want the socket to be soaked when the rain comes.

Just go to a petrol station or any station to get a power socket and jus install it by putting negative and positive at the correct battery colours and it will do

True what he says. As for me I wan it to be cosmetic and it muz also blend in with the bike. Thus I have gone for Powerlets.....

Mounted juz like in the pix makes it almost invisible to the 'itchy hands'. Not to mention smaller than normal ciggy sockets.

And as a deterrent, normal Ciggy plugs cannot fit this as it is smaller. I know BMW bikes uses this socket.
