@Dafanshu & @ducktale83 -

Our ops schedule for 2nd week September as follows;

Tuesday 6th Sept 2011 -

small training session & mooncake + pizza party for new license holder

Friday 9th Sept 2011 -

Local convoy training (expect to go round Singapore) then prawning at Pasir Ris. @huairen may be interested in prawning outing?

Unsure of total Friday night strength as we have invited over 35 riders. May run multiple convoys with different routes if the gathering gets too big. But all of you are welcome to drop by. No obligation as we are quite an easygoing group.

Were u guys at the Esso at foot of Mt Faber ard 11pm on the 9th Sept? Saw a group of bikers, might be ur group coz i saw a mix of small and big bikes.

Yep, should be unmistakably us, if you saw the Limited Edition yellow R6. The rest are all smaller Hondas and a great white Burgmann.

And we had the most awesome 3-in-a-row bike event today starting with a DIY painting / restoration session, an offroad tutorial at Seletar followed by electrical engineering, kopitiam style. Pictures and more coming up at a website near you.

  • 2 weeks later...
Hi, New here. Is there any outings this week that I can join? Or are you guys a closed group?

Hi, last week most of us were busy charting down 'horlan' locations and trying to nail down this season's weather patterns. Lots o rain means more planning required to avoid rain-prone timings.

Feel free to join us this week, details already PMed.

And... last week's major horlan operation

The key to maintaining high speed in traffic is not just riding skill... driver awareness of motorcycles also plays a part. In that respect, hats off to the local drivers we met (all hundreds of them) who gave last Friday's convoy enough room to run a larger and more diverse convoy than usual.

It's partly due to the authorities' increased attention to motorcycle safety that is slowly changing the public impression of motorcycles. Likewise riding in a responsible and safe manner will positively impact the public view of the motorcycle in time.

In addition we tested out some newer navigation techniques so high speed can be maintained throughout the course. @lacrimosae need not fear of too low a traveling speed unlike last year :)

As usual, some casual photography during the event.
