Hi guys need ure opinion between suzuki DR-Z and KTM 400 ( change to motard )

which is the better one?

Lets start the battle between the KTM lovers and ths Suzuki lovers

Apples and oranges mate.

 

The design objectives of each is completely different.

Past: KDX200, LC4 400, LC4 620, GSXR750WR

Present: CBR900RRY, Gas Gas EC250, XR250L, XR250RV, XR400 (motard-ed), NX650 Dominator

I would say that the Kawasaki KSR110 will win hands down ... no doubt about it ...

once you have bought one (either the orange or lemon) ... let me know ... we can try with the lime ... :giddy:

Thanx ar but none of you are helpful enuff... I'm planning to get either one of them and i need riders opinion. mayb the spec for these bikes... I guess i have to find other places where people are helpful and mature enough to share knowledge

Number one (or top few) pet peeve(s) in any forum - asking questions that have been asked to death.

 

Try that in overseas forums and see the type of reaction you get.

 

If you had done some or any research (try google), you'd have known that KTM RFS are race ready weapons and DRZs are more docile. How about maintenance you say? You don't really expect a race ready machine to have a maintenance schedule similar to that of an XR4 do you?

It depend on your deep your pocket is. If you can afford and its performance you looking for get KTM.

The KTM400 is a 39.1hp machine

 

dirtbike magazine 4 stroke comparison

 

the 38.4 drz400 featured in the magazine is an old DRZ400E model. Please do not get confused from the DRZ400SM.

 

4 strokes comparison dyno chart

 

Hope all these information is matured enough for you.

all kinds of motards will be there ... its a frenly meet up ... to get to know more SuperMoto riders and share with each other stories or ideas on the sport ...
