hey ts. i've just pass my tp. im a cyclist from young too!!

 

it took me only 1 try for every lessons that i have but still spend $600+ overall.

 

a cyclist may naturally have the balancing skill of a bike but u must also consider clutch/trottle/braking control.

Just finished 1st and 2nd theory lessons, yeah I'm very worried about the clutch, engine brake, Can't really wait before I get a hang of it at practicals. balancing not a problem

of coz it isn. coz on a bike with open throttle, it balances itself. if you can 'lock' a bike's throttle open, you will see it go non-stop even with no rider on it.

TS: like what the rest here have told you, $400 is simply not possible. still, good luck with all your practical lessons!

lol TS its impossible to spend less than 400 even if u pass all with 1 try. go back and take your PSLE maths

bleh, yeah, just recalculated, below $400, pretty much not possible.

 

Anyways my experiences of riding on the roads on a bicycle. There are goondu drivers all over, always check, look far for cars parked.

 

One bad experience was nearly hitting a driver, he didn't looked out before opening his doors, almost hit and I swerved a little, the driver shouted sorry thru his window loudly after slamming his door quickly.

if by your anology good bicycle rider = good biker...then every motorisr/bike rider will be fantastic F1 racer..

 

excellent bicycle rider...not necessary good bike rider..

the main diference is the control and handling at higher velocity...you may not have the motor skills , techniquesor guts to do it....it takes time and practice to get it right...

 

so ts....get ready for dissapointments..in your quest to a 2b license..or else you will be in for a big surprise..

 

anyway...good luck..hope u can past in the shortest possible time and within your budget..

 

yeah for those who want to know how much i spend to get license..

lets calculate my cost..

 

theory and push car test..$10

riding test..took twice..at $16 a try..=$32..

total spent..on passing class 2..yeah class 2 was $42..

 

you can ride bike on a provisional license..no test required. just hang a L plate..hehe.. have known people never take test and ride for ever..

 

those were the good old days.......

slow and steady, i took around 1.5 years just to pass my tp due financial difficulties.

every time i got my pay, i always put some in the cdc account.
