price-wise, down is low, with installments till 5th year.

free-bies, check with zervex or mah, i personally recommend zervex, Lino is the sales guy there and a very friendly and experienced rider.

getting back on a bike after a year of driving in silly-pores congested roads.

 

i disagree that its only for rich guys, down is low and its really affordable with the price plans. zervex doesnt charge u other stuff like agreement fees or admin fees, very transparent and very good.

 

those still on the fence, grab it now coz they have a very good promotion right now with cant mention what is included in the promotion coz dont wanna get lino in trouble

 

lets just say that arrow is already approved for the rs4 125

13200 OTR for me, 22years, over 2 years riding exp

insurance TPFT with ntuc approx 1200

 

i downed 1500, policy is to down 1500 or insurance, whichever higher.

 

13200-1500=11700

 

multiply interest % cant remember how much

approx 14100 total?

divide by 5 years and im paying 234 per month

 

maintenence wise according to manual is 2 bottle of EO, coolant only change when ness, plus petrol,

 

monthly damage $300

 

affordable to me for transport as i work shifts and a hell lot convenient.

Saw this RSV4 125 in my sch! Very big for its class, totally look like RSV4 1000 if you never take a closer look!!

machine price itself its 9000 bros.. on top of that, of course, u will have COE, road tax, registration fee, GST, IU and insurance..

 

parts-wise, personally i feel that the perception of italian bike's parts are expensive is too generalising and getting too old.. no offence tho.. but just look around.. there are many italian bikes on the road now.. which means there are demands for parts... when there are demand for parts, dealers will bring in more, in bulk.. that equates to cheaper parts... its not like 8-10years ago where italian bikes are still very niche.. but honestly, wat is expensive are the cosmetics... in e event of an accident and when u need to replace your fairing, for instance. nevertheless, there are affordable after market options as well.. we need to broaden our spectrum bruddars.. we need not just get OEM stuff.. some aftermarket ones are just as good..

 

And again, i must mention, RS4 is not a bike to compare to the rs125... its whole different class.. compare it to other 125cc four stroke instead.. yes, rs125 more powerful.. but there are some individuals who just prefer the convenience of a 4 stroke engine and compromising power..

Bro.. its not just machine plus coe plus insurance.. we got very cut-throat government.. there is registration fee which is about 100+, GST already 7%, there is IU about 160, got road tax 32 for 6 months.. these costs have to be calculated as well n all go to government.. so the rs4 is approximately about 12.2k OTR w/o insurance.. for below 21 p-plater's insurance is about 2k for a fire n theft cover...

Actually, what I meant to say was pricier parts of italian bikes compared to japanese bikes. But then again, it depends on the bike as well.

 

Yeah, when I was looking at this bike, I never once compared it to the 2 stroke rs125. Because, I'd rather have the reliability of a 4 stroke over the power of 2 stroke.

 

Unless of course, I have an attached garage next to my house then I would get a 2 stroke to tinker with, but that's besides the point.

as mentioned, got about 350km before it hits reserve.. i'm abit hard on the throttle.. some got about 400km... total tank capacity is 14.5L with 3.5L reserve,, so do e math ya...

 

deathism: yea bro.. depends on the bike.. sometimes even continental bikes can use japanese bikes' parts, if they fit.. so its all about exploring yur options.. aftermarket parts is also an option.. only the cosmetics will be costly.. even that, if ur lucky, u might find some china made cover set.. the rs125 have china made ones already.. and it costs only a fraction of the OEM ones..
