Thank you so much for being part of SBF, and part of the I.T.inerary forum.

This sub-forum was indeed created by bikers, for bikers like us.

 

Yeah, so I missed two week in which I was supposed to release Newsletter #3. I was incredibly busy with a project counting clumps of dustballs whilst in the office while performing inventory-taking. Accuracy should be impeccable here; I have to ensure all are cleared out from the IT equipment before they grow into, well, pretty much more dustball clumps. Then I'll have to count again.

 

In a nutshell, I did OT. This means i'm On Time for all my projects, rather than leaving them until the last minute.

IT issues

In the past week where everybody either chionged to IT Fair / rather go Sim Lim, people have been posting these threads in ITinerary:

 

@xXxRatedxXx has this issue where opening a new Internet tab will cause the entire computer to stutter briefly. Can you assist, keeping in mind that it has happened to his desktop computer and now his laptop? [reply!]

 

@Cyanide14 needs to scan many documents and print JPG images to stickers. He also asks if there is a way to scan hardcopy books and have the resultant hundred-page scans converted to PDF. While I could suggest getting an All-in-One printer with a document feeder tray (ADF) such as this printer, there's still the need to photocopy books and make stickers. If you have the sources in either Singapore or JB, let him know here: [reply!]

 

@Fried Rice says that he formatted his hard disk many times and installed an operating system over it each time. He asks if he can recover data from the hard drive. Technically there's a possibility that files left behind after the format can be overwritten by new ones, but if you see an ounce of luck somewhere and would like to help, we'd like to hear what you have! [reply]

Extreme modder/super bike technician Ian McElroy conceptualizes an all-wheel-drive Kickboxer concept sportbike that runs on diesel.

My take: I think it's good for straight-line speeding like a 'Busa, but questionable as a track bike due to its all-wheel-drivetrain.
