A mesh jacket makes more sense for everyday riding in Singapore.

When rain, just wear a raincoat over the jacket. Be sure that your raincoat is larger than your jacket, else you will have problem fitting it over the jacket.

 

There are also mesh jacket with waterproof liners but when you encounter heavy rain, it might not stand up to it.

There are quite alot of mesh jackets of different brands, sizes and protection at Motoworld (Kaki Bukit). Go take a look bro.

Hey if you are going to buy a leather jacket then buy one of their conditioning product also. I bought a white leather bomber jacket for myself from 9th&elm. It is very nice and I started adding many others to my collection.
