Season Parking at Harbourfront

Hello all,

 

My company has decided to shift our butts to Harbourfront by the end of the year and now i need to find motorcyle parking in the area. Understand that Harbourfront towers are out of bounds and i've enquired with my building management that they too don't allow motorcyles into our underground carpark (zzz).

 

My next alternative would be to park at Vivocity, but that's hourly charging. I prefer to park in a sheltered carpark although Seah Imm lots are just opposite the road. I'm not really in favour of parking at Seah Imm because it can be a challenge to slot my bike in there, plus it exposes my bike to the weather and itchy fingers.

 

Does anyone know if i can apply season parking at Vivocity and how much would it cost?

Well i finally got a reply from the management of vivocity.

 

Basically, for non tenants of vivo, you will have to pay $50 (ex GST) per month for a bulk of three months at a time. Tenants pay $20 (ex GST).

 

The price difference isn't the only significant issue here. Refer to their terms and conditions -

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SEASON PARKING

 

NON-TENANT

 

 

 

1. Season Car Parking is solely for the purpose of making available car-parking facilities for VivoCity tenants, staff & other authorized person / party.

 

 

2. We reserve the right to revise rates / charges without prior notice and season car-park holders shall pay the revised rates on demand.

 

 

3. Season parking holders shall adhere to the season parking hours of the carpark at VivoCity which is from 7.00am to 7.00pm on Mondays to Fridays. The normal hourly parking rates will apply outside these stipulated hours and on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

4. Sale of season car-parking lots is at our sole discretion and we reserve the right to reject or withdraw such facilities without assigning reasons for its actions.

 

 

5. The vehicle must be registered under the applicant/spouse’s name; a copy of the Vehicle Log Card must be presented. If the vehicle is registered under spouse’s name, supporting document such as marriage certificate must be submitted.

 

 

6. Application is applicable to tenants of neighboring buildings in the Harbourfront Precinct only on a first-come-first-serve basis subject to availability.

 

 

7. Application must be supported by a letter of authorization from the applicant’s employer; the letter shall bear the company’s letterhead and an address within the HarbourFront Precinct.

 

8. Season Parking holders are not eligible to participate in the Car Park Redemption Scheme (CRS).

9. Season parking will be sold on quarterly basis in the months of January, April, July and October.

 

10. No refund will be given for season parking sold and/or unexpired period.

 

 

11. Season parking holders will not be given priority to enter the car park when the car park is full.

 

 

12. Season parking holders are required to renew their season parking at least 7 working days in advance. The season parking will be invalidated if payment is not made on time. In this respect, there will not be any waiver of parking charges incurred.

 

13. Washing of vehicles in the car park is strictly prohibited.

 

14. DBS Trustee Limited will not be held liable & accepts no responsibility / liability for any damages, loss, theft or misdemeanor whilst the vehicles are within the premises of the car park.

 

 

15. The Terms & Conditions are subject to amendments and revision without prior notice and at the discretion of DBS Trustee Limited.

 

16. All other conditions relating to hourly / season parking apply.

Hi bro, have you found any secret spots? I work at HBF too and lately just acquid a bike. If you don't mind perhaps you can share how u worked around the options?

No secret spots bro, i'm on season parking at vivocity, $50 (ex GST) per month for non-tenants. Lots of bike lots which are large and no irritating M'sia kup kia cb trying to share the lots with you. I'm pretty happy paying this much for my convenience.

 

The next alternative would be to park at seah imm and see if you are comfortable parking there. But the competition for available lots is tough.

Have no issues with paying $50 for season parking. However my job requires me to be at work by 630am on some days and till 1030pm at night. Guess i'll just have to pay extra. Thanks though!

Wow serious? I see so many available bike lots. Oh btw, there is no restricted timing for motorbike season parking holders. The timing applies only to cars.
