i suggest u really save up for a new pair and go to bike lab to do it up. prices should be same for what southern quote.

heard they are better in doing suspension bah.

 

and u sure the fork is beyond repair? fork oil seal do only must $650?

 

what does the $650 consist of? should be change whole set rite?

yup... whole set of both forks...

 

well regarding to skill i trust Bike lab much more.... but i cun take the fact that they actually tried to cover it up after i complained once.... the oil was leaking... then he say change oil seal... that did solve the problem... till i went to change tyres... then oil leaked again and the dented part could be seen....

 

why din he inform me?? think it was really dishonest.... i am goin back to get them to explain properly to me.... and IF i can save myself from forking out another 600-700 by getting them to fix it.. i rather that....

 

if they die die no change... then LL, go scout around for other shops liao... AND i would really understand that y pple complain about southern.....

at southern yesterday?... not me lar... hehe... dat ah leong ar, f**king attitude one, as if he boss like dat... try tok to ah tiong, it really help...

 

i bought my bike there and after 5 mths i go back due to some problems with the spark plug tread, he still do it for me but he never charge any workmanship, he only charge me the gasket, the price for re-treading the head block, and etc... and overall i pay only $200+... which is definiely cheaper then other bike shop which quote me $900... as for the workmanship, i was there when he took out the head block and also when fixing it back...

 

jus tok to ah tiong, say u jus buy the bike from him then ask him do somthing lar, say if like dat next time u dun dare intro ppl liao...

currently interested to get 1 929. have just find one FS plate at 11k(machine price).

is it the market price nw?

would oso like to find the estimated fuel consumption in local normal usuage

and lastly the road tax for it.

hope u guys could enlighten me.

i got mine for 10.7k 6 mths back.... so urs abit high... as for road tax its $150 per 6 mths... as for fuel consumption, it depend on how u ride...

i would like to ask all 929 riders....

wats your fuel consumption like?? think all have different riding styles... but juz taking it as a guage....

 

my normal ridin on expressway is 110 -120.... the rest 90...

change gear at 3K RPM.

 

when i got my bike consumption was close to 17... now drop to 15.6 or so.... am i doin something too much??
