Hello..wanna ask anyone here or those riding 954..when u change gear especially in low gear is it loud?Also i find my after changing gear when i open throttle again like not smooth..any advice???:help: for me after changing gear i gradually let go of my clutch..but sometimes it tends to jerk..lastly..keke any idea how much a steering cone costs?I need to change liao...:cheeky:

It's normal on bikes you get a loud thud when shifting in lower gears. If you get heat rashes on your inner thighs, it's also normal, unless you're riding the RR4, it's all in the plastic tank cover.

steering cone costed me 50 bucks. for my frens 929 also 50 bucks.... 954 should be almost the same gua... :goodluck:

Edwin80, its normal.. jus ride more and you'll find a perfect shift where you wouldn't heard the loud thud.. usually it's around 3-4k rpm

i changed in malaysia cos i not staying in spore. my fren who's using a 929 bought for me, and at the same time he changed his steering cone too. shop charged him 50 per pc steering cone, including labor. change where i not sure, i'll ask him again which shop he got from. but i remember definitely was 50-55 and he said labour charges was included for his bike at that price...

i can shift without sound from gear box when i kick up man.

But not everytime successful, got to depend on the shoes i wear man.

Get a hard sole shoes, it will be easiler.

Clitchless shift?

No, i dun do that.

Only wheelier like u does that.

Racer? i dun like this definition man. So beng. I m pure and innocent man.

Shift without sound can maintain gearbox, thats why i did that.
