Juz to make enquiry,... i was quoted 10.5k for this bike a 929 model year 2000... by the way the mileage is about 60k... comes with micron pipe, pc2 carbon fibre hugger and the fairing still in original colour... is it a good buy? as i also heard the tapping sound from the ehaust valve... i am no good listener to engine.. how much is the price for fixing the exhaust valve?(so no more tapping sound)

i do hope those expertise in honda machine could help... abd what else to look out for.... thanks..

ensure that the recalls for the fuel hose and clutch outer has been done.

no... i got my diabolo cosa at $480. If u wan a cheaper one, u can get bt012ss. It's abt $350. Over rated is also very good cos my d other fiend is using it.

Harlow guys! hahaha a story to share! Thurs night i rode up to Genting with another bike, 2 of us only. And reached back in SG on Sat morning. Well it was hell of a ride man. BUT its damn damn damn damn tiring... spent about 800km to and fro.

 

While coming home, midnight at one of the expressway near KL, saw a group of malay motosiaos. I was cruising at about 120km. 2 of the i think RXZs came up with me and they did a "superman" posing on their RXZs beside me at a speed of about 140-150km for them... hahaha damn farnie, but after that they slow down liao... lolx and i carried on my way.

 

Going up was easy, but I nearly lost my way 2 times at KL while coming home. I've murdered hundreds of mosquitos on the expressways, their bodys still lying on my windscreens, mirrors, and sai tao...

 

Back on SG, my body was aching here and there. Jialatz.... so that's all! hehe

If u like a good tyres n wan it cheap, there r no rooms for him. However, i got some of d tyres infor. maybe U can see abt it. Currently, I'm using Pirelli Diabolo Corsa, n it have proven me it still d best since my 2A days.

 

Pirelli Diabolo Corsa - $470 a pair at Unity Motor at Bukit Merah.

Bridgestone 012SS - $370 a pair at Motor Sales at Kakit Bukit.

Dunlop 208 or 218 (lastest) - $330 a pair at Motor Sales

 

Review from me - Diabolo Cosa is proven me in their wet days, it still d best among d 3 tyres mention above but for normal road use during dry days, it's only average. As for BT012SS, if u like cornering a lot, it still d best in local roads but when come to wet days, it will not be as good as Diabolo corsa or Dunlop 208 or 218. When come to track, Dunlop 218 is still d best. Hope this will help U.

a bit of news for all...

 

kata, the fork like you said was damaged... saw it myself when they changed tyres, went back to southern to make noise.... then the ah huat tell me... no choice... think you need to change liao...

 

i charge you $650, ai mai.....

 

sian 1/2.... now hafta save for new set of forks.... would other places give a better deal??

u bought ur bike from who?... ah tiong or ah huat?... and how long they give u warranty?... if it's from ah tiong then go find him, make lots of noize... try to tok hein a nicer manner... hope it helps... btw, this is wat i did...

help... bike only 3 weeks since i bought it... and they with held the truth that the fork was spoiled after the fork leak in like 3 days from the day i bought....
