Seat shop advice needed urgently!

my seat was upholstery done recently by the stupid ah peh (& his rude son) at blk 30 bendemeer ...

 

he said sure waterproof 1 rain not wet i've been doing this for 30 yrs:

 

but only 1 day my seat is wet thro & my pants is always wet...

 

i used to go the shop next to ah boy: does anybody know wear they shift to??? Thanx

Just incase you are still looking. Can go to eugene saddlery which is near to LAB also. Google for its details and reviews.

Is it possible to fully waterproof the seat? My butt is always wet when riding after a rainy day even after wiping dry the seat.

Yes, water resistance for some better materials used. Water proof unsure.

Eugene is good.. anti slip seats. After rain can use hand wipe away... no joke

Yes, Eugene is good but u must make appointment with him. Price reasonable too. Get the anti slip cover.

Anywhere I can get those stock like material? Went Eugene before but he said he doesn't offer those type of material.

No point rewrapping the same material as stock. My stock seat only one and half year old and when Eugene took the stock material out, the stock seat foam all wet. U can ask the shop to customise your seat to your prefer shape to suit your individual butt. Money well spent as I did gel seat with anti-slip seat cover and customized seat shape at Eugene for $150 . Now at Hatyai and my butt is still OK.

i agree with most. bite the bullet and spend abit more for a good one.

 

i warp at JB for only SGD30 and just a couple of month the cushion is like seating on a piece of plank. worst then the original cushion.

My stock seat lasted me for more than 12 years, now still using, so wish to find back the same material. Eugene said it's a stock material, hence I am looking for only this type of material. There is no pattern, dimples on it, just plain smooth type. Anyone knows where can find?
