To gain something, there must be a sacrifice. This is the principle of equivalent trade

actually, you can visit any thai temple that have monk and is building or enlarging their temple.

You know usually we ask for a small prayer and usually we donate $$ for a tile, a brick, a etc. Anyway, if the temple "make" amulet, the monk will usually give it to the "person" if the donation is larger as a token of apperication.

(you know, usually they tie a string on your hand or etc.)

anyway, you can also requst for a amulet during the "blessing prayer".

I personally perfer amulet from these channel. (not that they are powerful or etc, just my heart felt good only).

Dear Lizard,

I have read your post in 'Thai Amulets' and would like to extend thanks to you for sharing so willingly with us.

Recently, I am so into Thai Buddhism and have invited a Luang Phor Thuad amulet with me.

I realised that other than keeping people safe on road and accident, Luang Phor Thuad's amulet also improves our well-being and luck very much. I know Luang Phor Tuad's holy spirit is definitely with this earth and he is still , till this day, giving blessings to people who practise good and who have faith in him.

On a side note, I have heard of Jatukum too.

Grateful if you can share with me where (in Singapore) can I invite a good Jatukum amulet to be with me?

I frequently visit the Thai Temple at Lorong Ong Lye.

I realised that the Jatukum amulets are really huge and heavy.. Heez... Appreciate it if you guide me on 'tips' when selecting a Jatukum amulets AND any good place to get one?

On a separate note, I have visited a thai amulet shop at Chinatown Market Complx (ground floor)

The man had only high praises for our Luang Phor Thuad amulet.

He explainaed the difference between Buddha, Heavenly God (Shen 2) as well as High Monk.

He said Luang Phor Thuad is a very very high ranking and powerful monk living in Thailand 300 - 400 yrs ago.

Luang Phor Thuad possessed supernatural powers and is compassionate to help those who need him.

Carrying his amulet, you will surely be blessed with :

1) Good Luck

2) Full Protection

3) Stay away from danger and evil

Most important of all, one must look out for their personal behaviour when bearing his amulet.

Do not engage in any vices such as gambling or drinking alcohol.

Just call out his name 'Luang Phor Thuad' before wearing the amulet.

It's said that even if tour amulet is newly produced by the factopry, it works wonders too.

As his presence is so high, even a normal picture/ figurine of Luang Phor Thuad will deter and deflect all harms and bad luck.

How do we know it's the real thing?

Wow, I was revisitng this thread. Flipping through some of the earlier postings made in 2005, I was pleasantly surprised to see many people already discussing about how thr late Thai Monkl - "Luang Phor Thuad", came to save and help them in times of distress.

True to his name, it is believed that Luang Phor Thuad bless people who wear his amulet with good luck and protection.

One would have to practise good and kindness in order to continue to enjoy Luang Phor Thuad's protection.

Remember not to engage in vices such as drinking etc.

Do good and it will yield goodness!

There is a Luang Phor Thuad statue for all to worship at a Thai Temple , along Lor Ong Lye.
