Do you have backrest or top rack installed? If not wrong, holes will have to be drilled on the box for the installation of both items. If sealing is not done properly, water can seep in.

where to do it and i dont have top rack

water getting into your boxes?

 

what boxes? junior or explorer or gobi? top or side boxes?

I thought xplorer side boxes open frOm the top? Its impossible for water to enter? Correct me if i'm wrOng

Xplorer side boxes. no top rack or whatever. Whenever there is rain, ponding occurs in left box.

 

now at least you are giving clear directions.

 

known issue for explorer side boxes. the water will seep in from the lower part where the alu piece and black plastic joins.

 

solutions: bring back to m-technik (google if unsure where is it) and tell chan the issue. he should be able to resolve for you.

 

if else, just buy a tube of silicon and apply at the joint all around the box.
