is this processor dual core or what? do you tell if a process or is dual core or quad core etc?

actually the reason why i am asking is because i am considering this lap top.. the model is lenovo z370. it is selling for $999 at lenovo retail shop.

 

this is the specifications.. i have taken a photo of it for convenience and reference

they are offering a free upgrade to 8gb ram if i were to buy it before 16/11/2011. the HDD is about 500GB if i am not wrong?

 

so is this a good deal? what are your views?

Up to you... In my opinion, its not really a good deal, but its a decent deal. But i don't know. My expertise is in desktops.
