If u meet "Road Bully" (Threaten to bodily harm or assualt) do not hesitate to lodge Police Report against them not forgetting their vehicle number.

These S holes think they own the road.

Let the LAW deal with them.

Lodge report twice.... nothing happens... no SPF gets back to me... rubbish... Guess they rather wait for ppl to be lying on the ground before taking actions when police is suppose to make citizens safe...

I had a crazy idea some time back... "stick with speed limits & ride within lane"... 1 rider makes no diff but imagine 1000 riders... foo yoo... drivers suck thumb...

The law is helpless, society thinks riders are a danger to themselves and others, fact is inattentive drivers are. Most if not all riders know this, we deal with their kind on a daily basis. Cutting without signalling, fail at looking ahead of the vehicle in front of them, turning without checking for oncoming traffic and most of all, tailgating. Normal yet disturbing.

U must be unlucky. Anyway it's case by case basis. It depends on whether any assault. No assault most likely no action or just warning. I know a few cases where the police charge the defendants in court. Did u check with the investigator with regards to ur case?

If you read warning signs along the expressway or those traffic messages, its targeted at RIDERS... The sentence used also feels 1 sided... sigh... sillypore...

When you submit online, there is no IO assigned.. Either they read & reply or read & forget...

I feel sick of SG laws such as offence that is not liable for arrest such as dangerous driving, reckless driving, road bullies, etc.

If not caught on spot, perhaps the case will lie around for time to come or just grow spider webs.

Unless caught on spot or someone lying on ground, then action is immediately taken.

This is taken from Police Pledge

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singapore_Police_Force

We pledge to be loyal and true to the Police service and the Republic of Singapore.

We pledge to uphold the law, to protect life and property, to prevent and detect crime.

We pledge to discharge our responsibilities without fear or favour, regardless of race, language or religion.

We pledge to strive for excellence, to be proactive and to exercise initiative in our duties.

We pledge to serve our community and our country and to be courteous and humane in our dealings with every fellowman.

I highly feel the second sentence to be untrue to a certain extent.

Protect life - http://www.thefreedictionary.com/protect

keep from being damage, etc, etc but apparently what the police advises is to do an online report or file a lawsuit via lawyer. Perhaps police dun wanna write report? perhaps its their protocol that no injury = no arrest/police case?

3rd sentence

Due to previous incidents of sentencing with regards to traffic offence, i feel some is super duper unjust...Fines & points deduction isn't enough to pay for a life gone...

I wonder if any of them are riding. Their lives seems 'too precious' than ours.

Guys guys,

Just fyi, do not post with details of accidents or claim charges or instructions given, be it old case or pending cases.

Just for your own protection, this is ultimately still a public forum, hence if you have any cases, please just use generic terms without giving too much information.

"Wolves and sheep will live together in peace, and leopards will lie down with young goats, calves and lion cubs will feed together, and little children will take care of them. Cows and bears will eat together, and their calves and cubs will lie down in peace." Isaiah 11:6-8

As riders, always practice defensive riding even though u may have the right of way.

I attended a defensive riding course at bbdc and till today, I find it useful.

Ride with care isn't enough. Ride defensively :)

No more regrets.

True. I used to keep informing friends and colleagues to ride defensively. Till something happened me. However safe or defensive your riding is all it takes is a reckless driver to end it all. We are always on the mercy of drivers. Ride cautiously.

Ya la wasnt really blaming them for anything. just that they are so easily amused at everything..But have you ever carried one before? i guess it's how the bike was wedged that i couldn't pick it up..

Had help to lift up few bikes b4 but nothing beats my previous Bmw1150Gsa, dat bike was damn heavy compared to sports bike.. From wat u described, it cud b wedged n nd to b "unwedged".. Not easy though n might caused more damaged to e fairings if not careful so u made e right decision to leave it as it is..
