T'was probably a mistake by the Beemer driver.

Sometimes I mistake which pump I'm using too because the numbers are just side by side. But in my case, I stand to lose from my mistake cos I'm riding and the other side's most prob a car. :p

Instead of pumping first, pay later. Wh not pay first and pump later.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Heh, reminds me of a incident where I quoted the wrong pump number and almost wanted to pay over 100 dollars instead!

Luckily the cashier told me that doesn't seem right and ask me to check again. There, some cashiers do have some inkling on how much a motorcycle usually pump. Think that my wearing of full gear helps too!

the bm driver... paying wrong pump is equal to not paying am i right? so a criminal offence?

speed and be home 5 mins early or 7 days late.

best is have the bike parked at a petrol kiosk within the station, directly in front of the cashier's view, at least when some low life drivers name our number, the cashier can take a glance..from my observation..but, if we actually park very near to the entrance or exit or the toliet, it's totally out of the cashier range and they won't even to bother those saying the wrong pump number..

this story very exaggerating. need to get so fed up meh?

just tell her nicely that the previous guy paid wrongly can already.

like tat also wanna quarrel? i really cannot see why TS so angry.

No more regrets.

You need to read properly. The cashier accused him that TS is lying and the other guy's pump is his even though he tried to explain to her. She basically made a mistake and does not want to be accountable for it even though its so obviously her fault.

Nah, not possible. My full gear is intimidating!

Anyway, talking about payment on the spot...I've seen some kind of electronic payment system on the pumps where you can insert some card and press some numbers, at Shell.

TS was worked up because the cashier refused to acknowledge her mistake and still insisted that he is cheating her even though he have explained everything already. You need to READ what TS is saying.

Its like telling someone an obvious fact but the person refuses to acknowledge it, hence TS was angry.

Maybe the previous guy who paid for the petrol dint even know he paid for the wrong one. Or he told the cashier the wrong pump.

Sometimes I just pay without looking at the price. It happens when u get too comfortable with the system haha

Seems like I need to be more careful in future.

No more regrets.

LOL. Right.... Sure....

Beemer whacks full tank and pays 5 bux? Not likely.

He may have quoted the wrong pump number to begin with. But he should've known something was screwed when the bill came.

After playing Soccer at Turf Club, saw fuel light came on, went to pump oil at the Shell right outside the Turf Club. After pump oil, looked up saw pump number 5 so walked towards cashier. In front of me was a middle age Chinese guy in business wear, long sleeves. When it came to my turn, I told the cashier, pump 5. She without checking, blatantly told me that it's already paid and said I was lying, claim that I should be paying for pump 6 since there's a BMW parked there and it cost 120bucks. Mind you, I was in my riding jacket, full face helmet as I never had the habit of removing them when pumping oil.

I took off my helmet and told her off, can't she even see that I'm in my riding gears and which idiot will drive a car wearing a riding jacket and full face helmet. At this moment, I turned and saw the business fellow drove away in his BMW. Then the cashier made a big fuss and insisted that I pay for that 120bucks. I was so pissed off that I demanded to see the supervisor. At the same time, told the cashier to allow other motorist pay first. She simply just say they can wait. :faint: So when the supervisor came, she took the case seriously and told me to pay for the pump 5 instead. By then it was about half an hour there already.

I jokingly told her that since that stupid business fellow paid for pump 5 then I pay for what? I could simply just ride off without having to make any payment. :cheeky:

This ain't the first time that I experienced these stupid drivers try to pay off their car petrol through our bike pump number. Bloody cheapskates. So guys, be cautious as sometimes the cashiers can be ignorant too.

I ask you guys...with regards to the Malaysian way of payment,

If you pay 30 ringgit for the petrol at the cashier in front but you realize that you can only pump 20 ringgit of petrol, how to claim back the remaining? (not referring to the attendant that walks around the petrol pumps...)
